A decent triple, some sourish citrusy aromas, taste of butterscotch and toffee, and bread. Head not as full and lasting as should be for the style. Niec hazy buttery body.

This review is from a 750ml bottle I bought at the brewery on 03Oct12 (for €4.30). I also had this on tap at Take One in Maastricht.

Enjoyed it in my room in the apartment I stayed at in Maastricht, employing a small wine glass for quaffing. Was a solid medium golden color, with a slight touch of haze. Head is rather thin, but still good; white and fine, with good lace. Nose has some tropical fruit and hints of spiciness. It was medium bodied, and fairly smooth, with a light prickle present.

Tasted a bit crackery with some sweetness. Melon, pear and green apple hit the palate before a rather spicy, peppery, dry finish. (Fwiw - the tap version I had displayed more tropical fruitiness and less spice character). Quite satisfying! Good stuff from Malmedy! Prosit!
