Single can bought at Liquor Shed. Best before June 10th. Oops.

Pours hazy alright, orange gold with a finger of foam. Foam is long lasting and there's nice lacing left behind.

There's a strong grapefruit dankness smell going on. Onion, some melon, hoppy but not really bitter.

Dank grapefruit and tropical fruity taste. Onion, melon, with a weird sweet malt presence that I attribute to the age of the can. That being said, take away the malty sharpness and I still would consider it as yet another example of the style, which I am not a fan of. Nothing terribly wrong with it. It's just not my thing.

The mouthfeel is just fine.

Epic does some really great beers so I don't care that this didn't please me.

Bottle pour at the brewery. Light haze. Golden color.

Kind of juicy. Peach and apricot. A little bit of resin. Bready malts. Medium bodied. Pretty drinkable. Just not super hazy.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, best before 7/9/2019. Pours opaquely hazy deep golden amber/light orange color with a 1-2 finger dense, creamy, and rocky off white head with fantastic retention that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, light peppercorn/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/light earthy hops and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, light peppercorn/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Mild pine, citrus peel/zest, herbal, floral, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, light peppercorn/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/light earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with a solid malt/bitterness balance; and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready, lightly sticky, and slightly resinous/rindy mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 7%. Overall this is an awesome NEIPA. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/light earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mildly bitter/drying finish; awesomely soft feel. Awesome Citra, Mosaic, and Motueka profile. Super juicy and lightly dank/earthy hops; with a perfectly balanced wheat/oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and spot on style example. One of the best in the series so far.

The pour is a danky light yellow. I get an aroma of citrus & tropical fruit notes. On the taste i'm picking up some juicy citrus, pine & mild dank on the finish. It's better than a few other New England Style IPAs that I've had previously. Cheers! A-

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a 12 fl oz can on April 19, 2019. Brewed with Citra, Mosaic and Motueka hops. Look is cloudy orange with a medium sized head. Notes of sweetened citrus.

I also had this beer a few weeks ago at the Green River Brewery in Dixon, CA. Is it a brewery? They didn't seem to have any of their own beers and turned the place into a "nightclub" at 9pm. Anyways, they had this beer on tap, might have been my fave of the evening.

Slightly hazy yellow and light amber pour, 1/2" white head. Had an enjoyable aroma, the #1 combo of Citra and Mosaic providing all that sweet citrus and tropical fruit notes, with some Motueka to help on the down under dankness I guess, although it wasn't as "dank" as some, it was still nice to smell.

Taste was straightforward, the malt body wasn't as pillowy as some NE beers with massive amounts of flaked wheat/oats, softer carbonation and even lactose sometimes. This still kept a little bitter edge and what seemed like an all barley body to it. Epic is usually affordable, so I'll definitely look to pick up a 6 pack of this, as I imagine it will be under $10.

Pours a hazed gold with one finger of cream colored head. great lacing & good head retention

S: Oranges, tropical fruit, fades a little in the homestretch

T: Follows the nose, dryness, a little green melon & grapefruit as well front. Passion fruit, oranges, a little dryness & muted sweet breadyness as this warms. Finishes dry with plenty of orange & passion fruit, a little grapefruit

MF: Medium body, creamy carbonation, very nice balance

Lovely take on the style, drinks too easy

12 oz can. Pours nearly opaque light brown/ gold with a medium white head. Aroma: orange, grapefruit, a little malt. Taste: citrus, sweet malt with a little bitterness in the finish. I have tried all of the Epic NEIPAs and they are all great, but this one is my favorite. So far.
