Best By date of 11/25/19. Opaque pale gold pour with fluffy white head; long cap retention; solid ring; heavy lacing. Faint onion and tropical fruit aromas. Sweet malt base; no bitterness; onion, pineapple, guava, lemon are subtle like a tropical juice blend. Medium body; soft feel - almost creamy; no hop astringency; no warmth from 10%; moderate minus carbonation; coats the palate nicely. Overall drinkable and enjoyable, it feels nice but there’s not much of anything going on nose or taste-wise here...perhaps these elements are the “ghosts” in this beer; I’d gladly drink again, but would not seek out.

Opaque pale yellow with a short white blanket.

This gives off a classic Tired Hands-like oaty softness before a juicy and also herbal spicy hop dankness provides contrast.

This NE IPA is a pretty solid take by Epic.

22 oz bottle sent from Hinda65, poured into Odell Teku.

Hazy blonde with a tall creamy cap of 2 fingers, receding to 1, leaving sheets of lacing.

Aromas are ripe with peach and pineapple and has a certain perfumey vibe to it but it's not overpowering.

Flavor is a little onion-y, with a little of the cat piss thing, but behind that is a grove of grapefruit and orange with hints of papaya, and tangerine. Still, tons of hop action, it's no joke. Slight blueberry. Very slight stinging gooseberry.

Feel is pretty creamy, not the creamiest but definitely in NE territory; lots and lots of alcohol heat maybe to a fault, a nice level of moderate stinging carbonation, and some dryness and resin on the finish.

Overall another solid effort from Epic. I remember having a couple of their hazies that were better, but this one is pretty decent too.

Bottle pour at the brewery.

A little more hazy than the cowbell. Pale golden color. Bigger bodied and more flavor. Grapefruit and pineapple. Bready malts. Not super hazy, but nice and enjoyable.

16 ounce crowler into tulip glass, filled on 5/22/2019. Pours very hazy/cloudy deep golden/amber/light orange color with a 1 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a small cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, red apple, coconut, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, white bread dough, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/light earthy hops and moderate bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of huge tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, red apple, coconut, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, white bread dough, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Very mild pine, citrus peel/zest, herbal, floral, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, red apple, coconut, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, white bread dough, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/light earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Slightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is fantastic. Minimal lingering resins. Zero warming alcohol for 10.3%. Overall this is an incredible NEDIPA. All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/light earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to drink for the huge ABV, with the mildly bitter/drying finish; fantastically soft feel. Amazing Citra/Cashmere profile. Extremely juicy and lightly dank/earthy hops; with a perfectly balanced wheat/oat/malt backbone. Not overly sweet/heavy from lingering dryness. Highly enjoyable offering, and amazingly spot on style example.

Bomber from the brewery store. Pours hazy light gold with a small white head that settles quickly. Aroma is citrus, straw, a little sweet caramel. Taste is sweet tropical fruit, citrus, floral hops, caramel. Just a hint of booze, the 10% is hidden well. Very nice, I expected a 10% DIPA to be a hop monster but this is not.
