A: Pours hazy stray with a 2” off white foam collar that clings to the side of the glass leaving thick lace.
S: Has a floral, spicy nose with orange, cardamom and some others over fresh white bread.
T: It starts wheaty seasoned with orange, cardamom and spices and finishes with a gentle hop bitter touch and a hint of tartness.
M: Medium body and above average carbonation with traces of velvety slickness.
O: This is an easy to drink beer with a nice Belgian character. My wife and I had this with Szechuan food and it paired perfectly.

22oz bottle (release #38) - nice to see more of this American pan Rocky Mountain brewery's offerings available up here.

This beer pours a hazy, pale golden yellow colour, with three chubby-ass fingers of puffy, finely foamy, and somewhat creamy bone-white head, which leaves some defrosting windshield lace around the glass as it slowly sinks away.

It smells of grainy wheat malt, underripe orange zest, edgy coriander and cardamom, a further hint of white pepper spice, and plain leafy, weedy, and fairly floral hop bitters. The taste is bready and slightly doughy pale malt, a lesser spicy wheatiness, some lemon, orange, and indistinct grapefruit rind acerbity, muddled earthy spice (coriander maybe the most prominent), faintly estery yeast, and more gentle weedy, herbal, and floral green hoppiness.

The carbonation is fairly robust in its thorough and palate-teasing frothiness, the body a so-so medium weight, and sort of smooth, as the spicy and mildly yeasty essences seem to forget a number of their social graces here. It finishes trending dry, the same characters from the mouthfeel holding onto the reins as we ride this one out to pasture.

Overall, a rather peppy and engaging version of the style, with the spices and fruit really bringing it on, like Donkey Kong, or whatever. Refreshing, and quite easy to put back, especially as the past few days have felt more akin to the dog days of summer.

Label says Release #2 (Exponential Series) .... I picked up 2 of these over the weekend... shared the 1st with Inflatablechair... the 2nd was with the wife, who says she loves Witbiers (this was her favorite from SA and Alaskan White).

Pours with a frothy white head... pretty descent retention and lacing... the brew is hazed light straw.. seriously very pale.

Nose is pretty phenolic for a low ABV Belgian.. plenty of coriander and some background citrus zest.. the yeast plays nice and big.

Flavor has the same qualities as the aroma... the phenols grasp unexpectedly at antiseptic qualities.. sorta medicinal... white pepper and abundant coriander.. citric essence is there, but in the background..

Body is a bit bigger than expected for a Wit... carbonation may be a tad low.. but really, this is a nice take on a Witbier and tastes very very fresh. Another cool beer from Epic.

Poured into a Celebrator pokal. Pours a light straw yellow amber with hints of gold, with a quarter finger white head that dissipates to patches and a ring around the glass. Aroma of spicy coriander and pepper, citrus and wheat. Flavor follows with spicy lemon wheat with a coriander and lemon pepper finish. Light bodied with peppery carbonation. A light, but pleasant wit with an emphasis on citrus and spicing; classic wit characters are here, but this is even more refreshing and fun to drink. A bit on the light side and could use a little more wheat character, but enjoyable.

Cloudy orange colored beer with a small white colored head.

Smells spicy with lots of coriander and pepper in the nose. Ginger and wheat malt and a faint orange scent.

Starts out spicy and a little tart with a bit stouter than expected bitterness. Coriander and peeper are the strongest flavors. Not very sweet mostly a spice beer.

Mouthfeel is OK.

An OK Witbier but I can find better.

650 ml bottle from the Brewpub. Pours a cloudy straw color with a medium white head. The aroma is soft spices and orange. The flavor is very nice, simple, clean and smooth; light spices, coriander, honey and oranges. Very drinkable. Nice. An enjoyable brew for sure.

This beer pours a cloudy pale yellow color. The head is half an inch in height, and recedes quickly into minimal lacing. The aroma is of coriander, camomile, and hints of lemon. The taste is similar to the aroma in its aggressive spiciness. The spice is so in your face that it gets in the way of the wheat flavors associated with a good witbier. I still like the flavor, but I think it would be better if it were more wheaty. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with a chewy texture, and lively carbonation. Overall, this is a good beer. It may be too spicy to be considered a traditional witbier, but I can still see a place for this beer at the dinner table. I don't think I could drink more than one bottle of this beer at a time, but I could see it pairing well with food.
