Thanks to thirdeye11 for sharing this bottle.

The beer pours a dark brown to black color with a tan head. The aroma is full of strong coffee, with a little bit of chocolate and some roasted malt throw in. The flavor is very similar. The coffee still stands out, but it is complimented by the chocolate, cream and roasted malt notes which add to the complexity. Medium to thick mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

22oz Bomber sent by scotchboy and shared with inebriatedjoker. Bottle states: release #1, 8.1%abv.

A: Pours a very dark brown with ruby hues around the edges. Very little mocha colored head that fades fast, as does the lacing. Small chunks of yeast that remind nesquik in this instance, lots of sediment. The beer is thick and oily, it coats the glass like many Imperial stouts.

S: Smell is composed of dark espresso roast coffee with decadent bakers chocolate evening it back out. A light amount of hops are there. Espresso-milk chocolate is a good summarization.

T: This is where the fun begins. This was consumed cold to warm, so initially the dark coffee played the lead. A couple minutes later the cocoa and milk chocolate really stepped up to balance this out. The chocolate flavors seemed slightly artificial the more I drank, but not in any bad way. Coffee bitterness lingers on into the finish until you take your next drink; not overbearing but it was there. The abv is well hidden but it creeps up on you towards the end.

M: This beer was thick and creamy. It's very low carbonation coupled with its viscosity help it feel like a melted chocolate milkshake. I think the amount of yeast and other sediment keeps this down a little; Shame on me for not knowing this would have a half an ounce gob in the bottom of it.

O: I didn't think much going into this beer but I was pleasantly suprised. No one part was overdone. This was very smooth and enjoyable like any good oatmeal, coffee, chocolate stout should be. This is a no brainer to get more of.

Thanks a lot Daniel!

Shared bottle with schwaeh -Thanks bro.
No best by date visible -Release #1 on label.

A: Poured half finger head that dissipated into a thin lacing, dark as a roasted coffee bean ,moderate carbonation.

S: Bitter coffee, chocolate, deep roasted malts.

T : Taste follows the smell, Bitter coffee with chocolate hints , roated malt, slight toffee ,caramel.

O: Overall a tasty coffee stout , being I'm a coffee lover I like the fact it's coffee is upfront and in your face, It's not overbearing and well balanced with the other flavors.

Thanks again Steve -good stuff.

Thanks to inflatablechair for sending this one as an extra. Split the bomber with Dan and Ratman last night and all were impressed. Poured a nice dark brown color with a small brown head. Aromas of bitter chocolate, coffee and roasted malt. Medium bodied, with flavors of chocolate, coffee, roasted malt and licorice.

Enjoyed this one at Breforia ... Epic Brewing Night ... Inflatablechair and I checked it out and were treated to a bunch of good beers by Rick and Chris ... Thanks Fellas!

Label is definitely different from all the other Epic brews... Red sticker type with gold foil relief... a flying coffee bean is front and center.

Pours with a dark brown head.... good retention and lacing.. the brew is the expected black but a little bit of deep ruby at the stem side of my glass.

Nose shows an impressive amount of cold brewed coffee and is punctuated by a nice sweetness that helps pull the dark malts and the coffee together.

Flavor is a bit mild on the traditional big stout flavors, but the coffee beans come out swinging ... no real malt sweetness, instead a bit of something that I would guess as lactose... body is a shade on the plus side of medium... carbonation seems smooth and creamy... never lacking... just velvety smooth.

Rick says this is going for about $16 ... that is a hefty burn from my wallet for a big coffee stout ... but honestly, my initial impression will make sure I grab a couple more and I will certainly pimp them out to my trading homies... Very nice for sure.
