The beer pours out a slightly hazy golden straw color, with 1 finger of white head---------- the aromas are of grass/floral, bread dough, and soap---------- the flavors follow the nose with that bread dough and grassy noble hops, the beer has a thin mouthfeel finishing light and crisp-------- overall this beer was nice, it has a nice doughy malt backbone with a big dose of those noble hops-

Poured into a balloon glass.

Look: Hazy straw yellow colored body under a white head that recedes to a light film. Random dots and vertical lines of lacing.

Aroma: Hay, dried grass, lemongrass, and citra hops.

Taste: Dried bread and grains before a plethora of dried grass, hay, and lemon peel.

Mouthfeel: Dry and medium bodied.

Overall: Not normally my style but the citrus helps make it more drinkable.

12 ounce can. Straw colour, slightly hazy, long lasting foam. Pilsner noble hop and bready nose. Noble hops kick it up front, kinda fade mid palate, bread malt moves in. Light bodied. Tasty for the most part. The 4.5 %abv I do appreciate.

Gold, nice hue, adequate hop aroma, nice pils middle ad finish--4.2 ABV makes it infinitely drinkable. A pleasant little pils--this is not a lager in taste but in yeast match only.

Poured from the can into a Belgian tulip. ID on the bottom of the can reads: 3049, 11339. No date present.

Pours a cloudy, pale, straw yellow with a white, frothy head that dissipates moderately. There is a type of white sediment present at the bottom of the glass that almost looks like sand.

Smells almost like sea water, with a hint of lager yeast. Very off putting and not characteristic of the lager style.

Tastes hoppy at first but finishes more like an ale. There really isn't a clean finish that you get from a lager, but more of a fruit forward finish like that of an ale.

Mouthfeel begins with a lot of carbonation on the tongue and then does leave a slightly pleasant hop bitterness, but then finishes kind of flat with a dryness that's not so pleasant.

Overall this isn't my favorite lager by any means. I've had many hoppy lagers before and this is not something I would seek out again. Hopefully they work on improving this one.

Cheers,
WB

I tried this from the can in a willybecker chilled.

The color is a beautiful golden with very good clarity and snow white head with fine bead and good retention with lace that sticks well. The smell is malt forward with a subtle yeast aroma and slightly spicy hop scent with a light toast odor and mild mineral hint. The feel has good balance with a malt up front that is light with spicy hop in the feel and mild sweetness level with toast texture and medium bitterness with moderately low carbonation and semi-dry finish

The taste is malt forward with a semi-dry toasted pilsner malt flavor with spicy hops joining in and yeast in the back with a low alcohol influence with a slight dry taste of lingering spice and gentle bready flavor with mineral yeast character. This is a pretty decent pilsner but could use more hop flavor -it sticks to a by the numbers style-wise example but pretty drinkable and well made

A: Bright gold color, with a modest head.
S: Kind of faint aroma, offering a sweet, slightly grainy malt scent. Hop presence disappointing.
T: What the... the hop choice is strange, offering piney, orange peel hop flavor. Does not taste like a pils at all, either czech or german. Bitterness is on the high side, and malt doesn't fit a typical pils malt flavor either.
M: Light bodied, moderately carbonated.
O: Not that bad a beer, if you consider it just a hoppy lager, but when I buy a pils, I want a certain flavor that derives directly from the hops and malts used. This was a disappointment for me.

Can id but no date, thanks for nothing.

Pours a mild fizzy 1/2 finger head that fades semi quickly, very little lacing, slight hazy golden pilsner color.

Nose very doughy, raw bread dough, little toasted pilsner, Cracked wheat hint of straw, some grassy and fruity hops.

Taste brings more toasted grain raw bread dough, lots more dough with toasted pilsner malt, little cracked wheat, touch cereal, little lager minerality, into grassy hops, little fruity and little spicy. Finish is pretty bitter with grassy spicy hops, mild dry touch sticky sweetness, faint toasted pilsner and bread dough.

Mouth is med to lighter bod, decent carb.

Overall not bad, little heavy hopped for typical pilsner but that's epic for you, hops weren't smash your teeth though which is kinda what I was expecting.
