Release #26.
look: Dark, nearly opaque brown. Some ruby highlights when held to light. Big mocha head on the pour that recedes to a fairly thick ring around the gas and some lacing that sticks around. Gorgeous.
smell: As expected coffee and cocoa. Some charred roastiness. Hints of bourbon and vanilla.
taste: Most of the flavors in the nose though not melded as well imo. The finish is bitter char.
overall: A dry coffee stout. Interesting and glad I had it. Personally i prefer KBS and Tweak but nice.

Dark oily black. Light head that sticks around for a little while while drinking. Fantastic smell of chocolate, coffee, bourbon and spice. Taste reflects similarly in that order. Very enjoyable beer from the guys out in Utah

Deep dark brown, almost black. Very thin dark brown head. Quickly gone. Spicey nibs on the nose. As it warms the barrel smell kicks in. Very balanced taste. Dark chocolate that isn't overly bitter. Light coffee on the follow through. Again whiskey kicks in more as it warms. Very smooth, but a tad watery.

I love the strong coffee flavor and high ABV great sipping beer by the fire in the winter time.

A: Dark brown, decent tan to beige head.
S: coffee and vanilla forward barrel dominate faint chocolate notes, but nose is very solid.
T: slightly stale coffee notes finish a chocolate roast.
M: a bit thin and fairly low carbonation, but a touch silky.
O: like Peche Mortel bourbon light.
