Look: Transparent copper in color. No head retention.

Smell: The smell is strong of raspberries. Tart raspberries. I'm unable to detect if this is a real raspberry aroma or if it's made with an artificial raspberry substance, but it sure is strong in the nose.

Taste: Lighter raspberry profile than it's aroma, and this time I'm leaning much more towards real raspberries. Some faint blueberry or mulberry flavors as well. Taste finishes with a crisp sparkling water note and ritz cracker aftertaste.

On nitro-tap 3/6/2016 at Flynn’s in Mansfield, MA, served in a tulip glass.

A: The beer is a deep reddish amber color, with a large dense white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.

S: The aroma is faint but contains raspberries, Belgian yeast and caramelized malts.

T: The taste starts out bready with flavors of Belgian yeast and a hearty malt character. Then some mildly sweet flavors of raspberries, caramel and spices come in. The hops presence is very mild as you would expect and there is not much balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet and slightly bready.

M: Smooth and a little crisp, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.

O: A little tasty, goes down ok, not too filling, good kick, decent representation of style, it’s not a bad beer but there are better options available within the style.

Can into tulip, no date.

L. Very much cranberry in color. Crystal clear with light head and moderate lacing.
S. Cranberries, lots and lots. A lot of sweet and tart if that makes sense. Some nice wheat notes thrown in.
T. Sweet berry notes up from, tartness on the finish that lingers.
F. Light body with nice carbonation.
O. A very easy drinking lighter beer. perfect for summer. Which has my wondering why I am drinking it on a 20 degree day in February.

good flavour. Strong fruit presence. I have been impressed with the Epic Brainless series with fruits. This one doesn't disappoint. The color is great. The finish seems a little less than ideal. But I like it.

22oz bottle - let's see if a headier fruit can redeem this 'brainless' series from Epic.

This beer pours a clear, bright medium salmon colour, with one finger of puffy, loosely foamy, and rather bubbly pink-tinged head, which leaves some skewed sheet lightning lace around the glass as it slowly sinks away.

It smells of tart and sweet raspberry puree, bready, grainy pale and caramel malt, a bit of graham cracker (though that could just be the pie associations immediate in my mind), some earthy yeast, and a touch of cold, steely alcohol. The taste is bready, lightly doughy caramel malt, a still up for it real and ripe raspberry fruitiness, a twinge of grainy wheat edginess, some ethereal funky dairy thing, a suggestion of spicy citrus, and well-behaved estery booze notes.

The carbonation is fairly light and tickling in its lilting frothiness, the body a so-so middleweight, buoyed as it is by the guest fruitiness, and generally smooth, nothing else really willing to crash the party right now. It finishes well off-dry, the mixed-seeming malt joining the lingering raspberry jam sassiness in perpetuating that eponymous pie sense of days gone by for me.

Well, hitting 1 for 3 might get you a fat-ass Major League contract, but it doesn't fly when the beer side of the metaphor comes in ~20 dollar installments. So, Brainless Raspberries works, perhaps due to the strength of the titular fruit, but you won't find me signing any sort of long-term contract with this roster.
