Visited during a cross country move in June 2017. Was a bit weary visiting the area; however, was pleasantly surprised! The brewery was well stocked, plenty of offerings, and customer-focused servers. Purchased a growler and continued my cross country trek.

I visited this brewpub with my wife and son on a Saturday afternoon. It was fairly busy, with a neighborhood atmosphere. There was limited off-street parking. The beer was solid, but not world-class. Noteworthy was a coffee IPA and the brown ale. The food was very good, although it was standard pub food. The service, however, was outstanding. Very attentive and pleasant. Worth a visit.

Place was hopping on a night during a weekend and had a nice feel to the place. Did a flight and thought their beers were good to great. Most were standard fare but they did have a few premium offerings including the Barrel Aged Scotch Ale which I found to be great and under priced by the growler. Naturally I bought one... I will probably visit this place again and I highly recommend this place in the under rated St. Louis craft beer scene.

The surroundings were reminiscent of an old english pub... modernized. Wood flooring, brick walls, a bar in the center. Very clean and the crowd was small, consisting of what appeared to be a bunch of mid-late thirties professionals there for libations after work.

The two beers I had were ok. Nothing stood out as great (or even very good) but were decent and certainly better than a bar offering BMC choices.

Service was also ok. I never found myself waiting but the bartender never cracked a smile and was studying in between taking orders.

Selection... ok. There were a handful of their own beers and that was about it. They offered a range of possibilties between the little choices there were... a stout, an ipa, a pilsner, pumpkin ale, nut ale, saison.

The food was the highlight. Much better choices than typical bar food but not quite a gastro pub.

Reasonably priced, for sure.

I ate lunch here a couple of weeks ago because I had heard many great things about the revitalization of Ferguson. As mentioned several times before, this place is near the airport and nothing else.

The place was packed with business people, college kids, and locals. Decent atmosphere.

I ordered off the lunch menu and had their stout. Neither were much to write home about, but that is NOT to say they were bad. Just pretty average.

I think this place will survive and thrive because it fills a niche with a college campus so close and the airport being nearby.

One of these days, I'll stop in again.

I really liked this place. It is a fairly large establishment although I went on a Tuesday night at 5:30 and the crowd was fairly small. Plenty of room and seating choices. Open, clean, very well decorated (lots of that old wood bar look and feel).

Everything had top quality - service, tables, seats, food, and beer.

We sat near the bar and were serviced by the bartender. Extremely friendly and pretty knowledgeable.

A decent selection of beer - mostly their own. About 15 types on tap. My one complaint on selection is that they only had growlers for take out. I was hoping to take a number of choices but couldn't. I'm a big believer in being able to pick up a mix of 12 oz. bottles when I go to new places. I know it isn't always easy to do but I like that mentality.

The food was very good. I did order Bavarian Pretzels assuming I'd get the standard concession stand pretzel and I was wrong. Excellent pretzels. Spicy mustard was very good. Cheese sauce was average.

This was an extremely affordable place to eat. The food was very well priced and exellent. The steal is their growler prices. 12.99 for a first time growler which is awesome. It would be 13.99 for a higher ABV product. If I understand correctly it would be 9.99 and 10.99 to refill the growler. That is awesome pricing.

This is a fairly new brew-house that has been open a little over a year. There are about 15 beers on tap, 8-10 regular beers with a couple of seasonal / specials on tap. There is usually a local beer on tap from one of the other breweries in St. Louis. They also stock other Missouri made beers in bottles as well as Missouri wines. The beers are quite good across the board with no real clunkers. My favorites are the St. Louis Pale Ale and the IPA.

The staff is very friendly and service is reliable, although it can get a bit hectic when they get busy. The pub menu is quite good along with some daily specials.

As mentioned before, not really near anything else, however, fi you're traveling through town, it is VERY close (10 minutes) from Lambert Airport, so for any business travelers this could be the one place to hit before heading out of town. That said, the food has always been very good along with the staff serving it. It's a nice looking remodeled older building and the beers are too adventurous, although there are seasonal gems like last years vanilla porter - super tasty, and the pecan brown is also just different enough to be interesting and tasty. They do offer flights so that's a great way to sample the variety of beers on draft. I'd like to see the place succeed and make some more interesting beers, but the quality is solid, if not extraordinary.

A wonderful brewpub to visit. Although it is a little out of the way as the last reviewer stated. I was able to find it on the gps and was led right to this.

The beer: Although nothing extreme or to dangerous everything I sampled was tasty. I had a sampler of 4 beers 6.5 oz pours. I choose the IPA, Pecan Brown Ale, Belgian White, and the Chocolate Stout. I then choose the Pecan Brown Ale to have with my meal. Very tasty the pecans gave it a nice nutty flavor to this brown ale. For desert I choose the Chocolate Stout. Although a stout with deep dark colors and a good chocolate/coffee smell and flavor it was surprisingly light not heavy like some stouts can be. Very nice with late night (after 9 pm) happy hour prices putting the pints at $3

The food: Once again very tasty here. They have a typical bar menu appitizeers, sandwichies, burgers, pizza, along with some bigger items steak kabobs, salmon, and jambalya. I first had an order of the onion rings. Some of the best rings I have had in a while I believe that they use some kind of a beer batter very tasty. For dinner I had the pork loin sandwich. Very very tasty. A piece of smoked pork loin with bacon lettuce tomato and onion with a chipolte mayo. Next time I go I will have them throw a piece of cheddar on it to make a wonderful sandwich even better. Everything I saw come out of the kitchen look tasty.

Next time I am in the greater St. Louis area I will deffinitly be visiting Hill brewing company. It isn't to bad of a drive from the airport 5 - 6 min. I woiuld recomend visiting this relativly new place if your travels take you to st. louis. Look it up you won't be disappointed.

The first issue with this place is location. It's not near anything, and in order to be a destination place you need have something that will bring people back. Unfortunately, this place is just average all around. It's a great looking space, but the food and the beer are average. It's still a little young, so hopefully the beer gets more interesting.

I'd really just like to rate a place without coming up with 500 characters, so I'm going to waste space talking about it. If you're reading this and you rarely/never review places, please sign up and do. The more, the better.
