Got this from a beer of the month. Really strong, so I probably should have shared it. Looks great in the glass, nice thick head, lots of lacing, very clear amber. Not much in the nose and the flavor is malty and kind of tame, but even my wife liked it and she hates most beers, so not sure if that is a positive or not. Enjoyable, but probably wouldn't buy again.

750 ml bottle into a tulip glass, as suggested by the brewery. Had 4/28/18.

Pours a honey amber color, cloudy, with a two inch foamy head with good retention and a good amount of foamy lacing. Aromas of caramel, malt, toffee, hops, grapes. The taste is pretty similar- caramel, malt, hops, some dark bread. There’s a decent amount of hop bitterness throughout. Smooth, a good medium body, well carbonated.

A good example of an Alt, and the jacked up ABV doesn’t disturb that. Very nice hop profile- I know Noble hops were used, don’t know what else. Liked this more as I worked through the bottle.

Poured from 750 mL bottle into tulip.
A: Pours a beautifully clear golden amber hue with huge 3-4 inch frothy off white head with excellent retention. Active carbonation jets continue to fuel the head. Faint lacing when it finally settles.
S: Soft and subtle caramel sweetness (a bit of toffee in here), herbal hops, mint, brown sugar, and hints of berries and dates. Opens up nicely with warming.
T: Soft and supple caramel notes, herbal hops, earthy minerals, and hints of berries and dark dried fruit (e.g. dates and figs). Definitely allow this one to warm for fully effect.
M: Super smooth with an almost ethereal feel. Dances on the palate with some effervescent kick. Drinks much lighter than ABV. Restrained sweet malt notes with even more restrained astringent hops. The bitter and dry notes emerge more in the finish. Mildly fruity yeast notes too. Extremely well balanced.
D: For style, a superb example. Very well constructed and executed. Malt notes at its core with supporting and complementing hop and yeast notes. Nice surprise!
