A - Pitch black pour with creamy toffee colored lacing covering the top of the pour and sticky on the sides of the glass.

S - Coffee bean and dark malt char cocoa dominates the nose with some cream on the very back end.

T - Coffee bean, cream, dark chocolate malt char with light smokiness, light charcoal, lingering chocolate char bitterness on the back end with some cream.

M - Big medium body that's a tad thin on the back side. Very dry on the back of the tongue but very wet up front.

O - For some reason, I feel it's a little too thin but overall, it's really outstanding and definitely worth seeking out!

A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a half finger high tan head that quickly died down, leaving wisps of bubbles on the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of coffee beans and dark malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste has stronger flavors of coffee beans along with notes of lactose towards the finish (but without any associated sweetness). There is a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a little smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is exactly as advertised and tastes like a coffee stout mixed with a milk stout (or so to speak coffee mixed with half & half and no sugar). It is quite drinkable as no alcohol is perceptible. This makes for a very nice breakfast beer.

L — 1,000 lumens passed through the glass reveals a very dark amber body with two fingers of tan head produced with moderate pour. Some retention and lacing
S — Roasted barley, nutty coffee, cacao powder, maybe a hint of dark fruit
T — Largely follows the nose. Semi-sweet, the lactose isn’t really in your face
F — Medium mouthfeel, medium carb. Surprisingly little body for the style and ABV — definitely not the consistency of half&half or anything close to that
O — Bit of a disappointment here, reminds me of many other ‘normal’ coffee porters I’ve had. Lots of nuttiness from the coffee and malt profile but that’s about it

Pours very dark, medium bodied, with a nice dark mocha head that slowly fades. Not much to the nose, faint coffee. Rich and creamy, loads of coffee, bittersweet chocolate, slightly bitter finish. Overall this is a fun beer, not too strong, great flavor, incredible mouthfeel.

-ebony tap pour with a thin foam cap. The aroma is superb, espresso and dark chocolate dominate. The flavor is sweet and coffee-bitter. The abv is completely masked.

Found a bottle of this in Williamsburg Brooklyn by luck and was pleasantly surprised. Very creamy. Very tasty. Dark sweet coffee ☕️ that poured with a beautiful creamy head. My only complaint was that the bottle was kinda small for an Other Half stout but I guess the bottle design suggests that it was a Barrier release probably maybe. I did not notice a date on bottle so not sure when this was put into circulation but I am speculating that it was quite some time ago that this was released.
