L: Cloudy, opaque yellow with an enormous creamy white head. Very long retention, a foamy film always remaining and leaves sheets of lacing.

S: Pineapple, fresh mango, white peach, orange zest, lemon, chive-like herbaceousness.

T: White peach, apricot, pineapple, and mango upfront, along with hints of orange and lemon. Hints of chive, mint, and pine in the background. Soft cracker malt. Virtually no bitterness, but there is a lingering orange pith sensation.

F: Very soft and delicate, light--but not watery. Moderately carbonated. Flows very fast across the palate, and ends cleanly.

O: A really great DIPA from Barrier. So soft and delicate for almost being double.

L - lots of talk on this label. Let's see how it holds up. Pours a medium orange haze. Standard stuff, but a nice break from the paint yellow OH stuff I've been drinking recently.

S - potent herbs and onions. Has a very nostalgic garlicky aroma. Maybe some apricots in there too.

T - more onions, but definitely restrained. A little thin and a little let down, honestly. Light summery flavors of passion fruit and flowers. Scallions and dandelions.

F - like I said before, way thinner than I'd expect for 7.8%. Too drinkable. The carbonation is good and it's not watery, thankfully.

O - the can boasted a lot of flavors, but I got mostly onions. Oh well.

Great mouth feel, citrus forward, excellent overall. This is a very good NE style IPA, better than many other barrier offerings. Very hazy and extremely drinkable. The smell is the only critique here, it is not very strong smelling. Imo better then it is rated.

A: The beer is slightly hazy yellow in color with faint hues of amber and a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head.
S: Light aromas of mangos are present in the nose.
T: The taste has flavors of tropical fruit hops—mangoes and pineapples seem to stand out in particular.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation. There is no noticeable crispness.
O: This IPA is rather “juicy” without having that much bitterness.

From can dated 1/2/18. So far my favorite from Barrier. Gets it’s nice fruity flavor from the Mosaic yet has a ton of spice and bitterness from the combo of the other hops. Great stuff.

--pretty yellow-orange tap pour ( but murky). Aroma is bright orange and sweet. The flavors are tropical fruit dominated, including mango. The hop bitterness is only moderate. This is a smooth and very likeable, high abv IPA. The finish is smooth; alcohol not detectable
