A: The beer is hazy light yellow in color—too hazy to see if there is any visible carbonation. It poured with a a finger and a half high bright white head that has very good retention properties and left a short head covering the surface and lots of lacy rings of bubbles around the edges of the glass.
S: Light aromas of mango and pineapple are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has light to moderate flavors of pineapples along with hints of mangos and other tropical fruits. There is a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and slightly crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I liked the tropical aromas and flavors of this beer but only wished that they could have been a little stronger. The beer is extremely easy to drink.

From the tall boy can in a snifter via ZID! Cheers!
This mighty fine IPA pours a nice medium hazed amber tinged yellow
with a nice head of white foam that subsides to a thick ring of foam,
a nice pooling layer, and showcases some very nice lacing. Nose of
pineapple, light mango, light orange zest, subtle herbal hops with light
pine and sweet earthy malt. Flavors nail it out of the park with light
honey and subtle cracker awash in pineapple and subtle mandarin orange
notes. Herbal and light pine bring up the rear of the taste with a earthy
malt note in there that has a touch of dark clover honey. Very nice mouth feel;
medium light body, medium light carbonation that is lively and enticing, and a
lightly dry and subtly sweet balanced finish.

One of the best of the American style IPA's I have had. Excellent.

Cheers and thanks again Zid!

-deep yellow can pour with a 3 cm foam cap. Aroma is lightly-tangerine scented with a touch of mango. The flavor is clementine and tropical fruit. The bitterness is minimal. The malt supports the fruit front well. This is not sweet. It is very good.

A: Poured from the growler into a Palm tulip. Body is hazy straw-yellow with a small whitish head.

S: Earthy hops, with a touch of tropical fruit and a hint of pine.

T: Tropical fruity hops - think pineapple and something sweeter, maybe mango or papaya. Finishes with a grassy/piney green-hop bitterness. Modest malty sweetness underneath.

M: Medium in heft, mostly juicy in feel.

O: Good. Reminds me of Lord Hobo Glorious in some ways, makes me wonder if they're using Galaxy hops with this one.

Picked up at Total Wine, Westbury, NY. To me it's one of their best IPA's to date. Slightly hazy with a lasting head. Lots of fruity and tropical flavors with mild bitterness. Has both aspects of a NE IPA with the creamy mouthfeel but with more bitterness. Awesome offering, definitely a must buy.

Can from Zid. Thanks Chris! Canned October 30, 2017.

Pours a hazy, no, cloudy dark yellow with oodles of billowy foam. As it shrinks slowly, there's some nice lacing left behind.

The smell has some unusual tropical fruit going on. Mango or papaya. Been so long since I last ate either fruit. Mildly sweet from that but there's some scents of pine with a bit of bread.

Tropical fruity good, pine adds some bitterness, hints of pineapple, bready malt, tasty without any one flavour being over the top.

Nice smooth mouthfeel. Very enjoyable and so easy drinking.

Pours a slightly hazy deep golden color with a very fluffy inch and a half white head that left lacing all the way down the glass. Smell and taste are slightly muted to me with mild citrus, floral notes, herbal elements and a hint of spice and pine. Medium bodied, well carbonated, minimal bitterness and a slightly dry finish.

Double dry hopped with Tahoma, Amarillo, Waimea, and Summit hops, canned 10/30/17... Hazy, medium-pale gold body under a thick white foam head that trailed lace lines behind... Floral and herbal fruity aromas previewed a moderately bitter and only mildly sweet beer with a soft, smooth feel... Presented suggestions of muted citrus fruits, with hints of tannic cedar and vague herbal spice, and a subtle undertone of a pine-like element... The malt body does not give way to the hop profile and asserts a grainy, bready backbone to the experience. Fairly distinct profile overall, and a very enjoyable drink.

Bought at brewery on 11/4. Another solid offering from Barrier. Straightforward clean hop flavor, no haze, good carb, light fruit, maybe stone fruit or papaya, biscuity taste at the finish. East coast IPA
