Poured from a 1L growler into a cup.

Smells fresh, floral, and resinous. Wonderful citrus and pine.
Super fresh and bitter. Lovely hops. Crisp, well-carbonated, the flavor is straightforward and a little boring (garlicky, piney hops with an orange finish) but powerful enough to make up for it.
Really nice pale ale. Recommended. Would drink again.

Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a very well retained fluffy white head that left a couple rings of lacing. Smells of citrus, pine, grass and a hint of malts. Tastes of grapefruit, pine, grass, orange, a hint of pineapple. Quite bitter and dry, light bodied, well carbonated.

Can dated 6/12/17 poured into a tulip. Look is golden haze wih an inch white head leaving little lacing behind. The smell is grapefruit, pine, dank, citrus, and subtle malt! The taste is orange, grapefruit, pine, and earthiness with some very light malt. Feel is light and crisp, a nice hop bite in the back. Overall this is my first barrier beer and it is pretty delicious!

Dry hopped pale ale featuring Centennial, Cascade, and Comet hops... Pale gold body, lightly hazy, under a tall white head trailing lace arms behind... On the nose, grassy, floral, and grainy with hints of pine and citrus... On the palate, tight bitterness, dry, with very little by way of sweetness - a clean, crisp and light beer... Light-bodied, taut, earthy and bitter... Very much what I expect in a good pale ale (as opposed to an IPA) - lighter and tighter, bitter and dry as opposed to sweet and fruity... 6/12/17 canning...

No bottling date. Dry-hopped w/ Centennial, Cascade and Comet.

Appearance - Pours hazy and dull golden yellow with an off-white, fluffy two-finger width head. Fair retention, resulting in a thin, broken layer of suds and a thick ring around the edge of the glass.

Smell - Citrusy and quite dank. Hints of passionfruit.

Taste - Quite earthy on the tongue; dank, grass and dirt. Moderate citrus rides beneath and surfaces near the finish, along with hints of pineapple and stonefruit pit nuttiness. Spice. Aftertaste is equal parts dank, earth and grapefruit pith.

Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with moderate, tingly carbonation. Goes down easy enough before a mostly dry finish.

Overall - Boy, this is easily the most dank, earth-driven pale I've ever had. It's not in my wheelhouse, but if that's your thing you'll love the hell out of this one.

Growler of Greenroom Pale Ale from Barrier purchased at the brewery in December, 2016. Carbonation mostly dissipated over a few days sitting partially empty in the fridge. Poured cold from the growler into a thin-walled glass. Cloudy amber beer with white head. Short burst of attractive hop aroma. Modest lacing, even with the low carbonation. Flavor has the citrusy hoppiness common in modern pale ales and IPAs. Fairly tasty and drinkable.
