Reviewed from notes. The appearance was a nice looking soft semi-dark murky brown color with a finger’s worth of a mocha colored head. Glistens nicely and falls off at a good pace. Light stringy lace. The aroma had some soft sweet to roasty nuts up front with a nice caramel/toffee malt base rolling into a subtle crisp sweet earthy blend, some grassy dryness. The flavor brought all of the previously mentioned aromas together riding on into the aftertaste and following through in the finish. The feel was about medium bodied with a fair sessionable quality about it. Light carbonation with the ABV feeling as projected by the brewer. Overall, I liked this brown ale, well worthy of having again.

L; A very dark brown, almost black. A finger of white tan head which lingers for a bit. Some nice lacing.
S: Chocolate
T: Some chocolate, vanilla caramel.
F: Medium bodied, moderate carbonation.
O: A solid example of the style. Like more of this come october and november.
