A: Dark brown with an off-white head. I'm not getting much lacing.

S: Sweet, slightly fruity malt with a hint of chocolate.

T: Rich maltiness that's like the smell with some dark fruit. There's a touch of char at the back end, along with some hops, that balance the chocolaty sweetness. The char and and earthy hops linger nicely, and the hops really come through on the finish. This is a fully flavored, but still quafable, porter, and the flavors are well integrated. A well designed beer.

M: Medium for the style.

O: It's hot and insanely muggy right now, but I'm having no problem drinking this porter.

500 ml bottle, I cant find any dating info...

Pours dark brown dark mocha head, minial lacing left behind.

Dark malty nose, with chocolate and dark coffee

Densely flavorful, waves of more coffee, more dark chocolate, dark toasty malts....tasty stuff...more quality brew from Strong Islands Barrier Brewing

L: Pretty black with a two fingers of tan head. It lingers for a while leaving some patchy lacing down the glass.

S: Caramel, coffee, burnt toasted notes.

T: Follows the nose. There's a little heat. I've never had a baltic that doesn't.

F: Moderately carbonated, medium to full bodied.

O: This was nice. I had more than one.

Pours a chocolate brown color with a creamy mocha head. Settles into a light cap with no lacing.

The aroma is of smoke and chocolate. Nice noticeable smoke hits right away, not overpowering. The chocolate is subtle, a bit powdery.

The taste is smokey. Again not overpowering. Woody with campfire notes. The base malt provides toasted pumpernickel, caramel and some metallic notes. Any chocolate or coffee is subtle.

The feel is full, smooth and creamy. Lactose sweetness with light earthy bitterness in the finish.

I really like this as a smokey porter. Great base beer and smoke. If they intended to have chocolate and coffee notes, they may have missed a little as it is hard to detect over the smoke. Regardless very good porter.

Look is pitch black with a tan latte colored head.

Aroma is rich roast. Like a very dark roast coffee. Slight raw cane sugar sweetness.

Taste is like a Cuban espresso. Intense roast coffee but with a pervading sweetness.

They must have upped the abv on this beer, but at 8% you don't feel any of it.

Typical imperial/Baltic porter pour - not quite opaque, but close... Kicked up a huge dark foam head but trailed nothing down the glass. Aromas of smoky charred dark malt suggested espresso, wet wood, and hints of bittersweet chocolate. Felt a little thin at first, but as it warmed I appreciated the body more. Nice earthy malt roast profile - little molasses-like sweetness around the edges, but a fairly balanced beer between the bitter and sweet. Got some dark fruit impressions on the tongue, too. Bit of stickiness in the corners of the mouth on the finish, nice lingering flavor... At first I was a little skeptical, not being a big porter guy, including the imperial/Baltic versions (I'd rather an imperial stout for the most part, meaning, thicker, bigger, bolder), but this actually mellowed really nicely and is one of the porters I enjoyed most.

On-tap at Mugs Alehouse, Brooklyn, NY

A: The beer is very dark brown when viewed from afar—reddish hues are visible near the edge of the glass when held up to the light. It poured with a quarter finger high tan head that died down and left a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of roasted malts are present in the nose along with notes of smoke and iodine.
T: The taste is similar to the smell, but there are also notes of chocolate malts and hints of cola.
M: It feels nearly medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is quite flavorful for being a lighter-bodied Baltic Porter.

Excited to try some limited brews here. Seems like more and more breweries popping up these days.

This one poured out like a cup of coffee. It even had a beige head on it too. It did not smell like coffee though. Unless you put booze in your coffee. Hah! Had a real robust alcohol and medicine smell. The taste was very full-bodied and rich. Kind of syrupy actually. A little bit too much sugar for me.

I was hoping there to be much more hops in the end too. But this was just a little bit too meaty for me. All in all a decent beer I guess but nothing I would get too excited about.
