4pak from Ma and Pa’s. Very nice IPA . Full flavor and feel but still a very easy drinkable brew. Happy intro to Barrier Brewing.

Pours a murky straw color, visible carbonation, and a dense and large foamy head. Excellent retention with sticky frothy lacing.
The nose features a combination of tropical and citrus fruit. Grapefruit, orange, a touch of lemon zest, mango, papaya and guava and pineapple.
Flavors are bursting with citrusy hops and tropical fruit; grapefruit pith, dry pineapple, mango, and orange peel. The middle palate has a developing moderate bitterness that is peppery and piny as it interplay’s with the full bready and caramel malt backbone. The finish has a zesty citrusy sting and a resiny linger.
Medium bodied, gently carbonated, frothy and juicy.
Interesting and tasty IPA. The appearance and juicy/frothy flavor and texture suggest NEIPA. However, the resiny bitterness hints at West Coast. A nice hybrid. Very well done.

This beer pours a super hazy golden color with a dense, two finger, foamy white head. Retention is above average and there are sticky rings and chunks of lacing left on the glass.

Smell is bright tropical fruits, most notably mango, pineapple, lemon and tangerine, along with a hint of pale malts and a dank, weedy aroma.

Taste is the same. It starts of fruity, there is a little malt presence mid sip, and a moderately bitter finish.

Feel is light side of medium, soft, smooth and slightly sticky. The carbonation is low.

Overall this is a very good beer. The smell could pop a little more and I wish the body was a bit more creamy, but this is a more than solid NEIPA that you don't need to wait in line for.

16oz can courtesy of beerloserLI. I believe it's the last survivor of his NBS BIF box.

Hazy, in fact downright cloudy gold amber color, with a big head that was initially creamy, then rocky looking, before it eventually dropped. Left behind was a mass of lace.

Big, juicy hop aroma to this. Very reminiscent of tropical fruits.

Quite easy drinking, this. Tropical fruit-like flavor dominates the taste, with just a little grapefruity bitterness balancing things out. Finishes dry.

Medium bodied, with a mouthfeel that manages to be both dry and relatively soft.

Tropical fruitjuice like hop flavor that doesn't overdo it, ably balanced by just the right amount of bitterness. I feel like I could session this, although the relatively high abv would probably make that a bad idea. Truth in advertising ; this is definitely MONEY! Thanks, Brian!

Cloudy whitish, dirty gold color. Small but lasting head which leaves rings of lace with each sip.

Bitter with a "green" weedy nose. Attractive but a little prickly.

The pale malt base is subtle and easily overtaken by the bittering hop, which has elements of black pepper and fresh sage/oregano. Thin bodied with an elevated carbonation level. The aftertaste is straight up bitter and long lasting.

Full Flavored west coast style IPA with some bitterness in the aftertaste with light fruitiness up front. Fresh from a can. Golden color without the haze was a nice switch from an east coast brewery.
