Icculus Kolsch style ale can at refrigerator temperature poured into a half pint nonic glass in December 2022. Basic good kolsch impression, true to style.. I think the taste lacks followthrough. There is a slight tart, dry aftertaste that I am not a fan of.

On tap at Le Petit Rooster, NYC.
Pours a clear golden color, lots of visible carbonation, and a frothy white head that displays good retention.
Not getting much from the aroma at first, mostly clean. Into the drink, notes of bready malt. Further in, some floral hops and lightly fruity aromas.
Taste is malt forward with clean grainy and bready flavors. A developing hops presence imparts a gentle spice, floral and light fruit, more for flavor rather than bitterness. The finish is dry and clean.
Medium to light bodied, crisp and with a lively and refreshing carbonation.
A drinkable Kolsch, nothing earth shattering and a little plain, but decent overall.

Had on tap. Pours a clear golden color with a very well retained thin.white head that left excellent rings of lacing. Smells of cracker malts and grass, rather mild aroma. Tastes of cracker malts, green grapes, grass and a hint of lemon. Light bodied, medium carbonation, dry mouth feel. Very drinkable but nothing special.

A: The beer is clear yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a half finger high bright white head that died down, leaving a thin film of bubbles covering the surface, a moderate collar around the edge, and some thick lacing running down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of cracker malts are present in the nose along with some hints of green grapes.
T: The taste follows the smell and starts out with lots of flavors of cracker malts—there are also some hints of green grapes, but these are only really noticeable in the finish. There is a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and quite dry on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This Kölsch seems to be a lot maltier and drier on the mouthfeel compared to other beers in the style.
