Deep copper orange in color with a deep haze that lifted a bit as this warmed. Poured with a short off-white foam that quickly reduced to a wispy cap. Belgian yeast, caramel malt, tropical citrus and pineapple aromas. Medium bodied feel up front with tight aggressive carbonation through the middle and a thinner, slick, oily feel at the end. Spicy belgian yeast and caramel malt flavors up front with light tropical hop flavors through the middle. Finished with a malty and herbal, citrussy hoppiness. An easy drinking belgian ipa with well balanced flavors without much intensity.

Very nice easy drinking Belgian IPA. Not overwhelming or too intense but definitely plenty of Belgian characteristics and hoppiness present. Attractive orange-amber hue but below average head and lacing on my pour. Not quite as full or complex as could be, but a tasty beer I'd drink again!

A-pours a hazy, deep orange with three fingers of bubbly white head. Good lacing.

S-bready malts of the bat. Not a lot of hops in there to be honest. Some citrus.

T-starts out with a flattish malt note, followed up by a bitter hop bite. This one seems like its missing some depth. Not overly impressed with this.

M-medium body. Good drinkablilty as far as that goes, but just not thrilled with it enough to have multiples.

O-underwhelmed unfortunately. Want to try other Clown Shoes, this left a little disappointed.
