12 ounce bottle -> snifter

A - pours up a hazy orange color with a two finger off white head, awesome retention and awesome lacing.

S - sort of one dimensional smell. Mostly oranges with a hint of lemon.

T - dry and yeasty with a grapefruit and oranges presence and a nice bitter finish. fairly well balanced.

M - full with lots of carbonation.

O - fairly decent. Clown Shoes usually comes up with some winners.

Bottled on 11/12/13. 12oz bottle poured into a tulip. Pours a dark burnt orange; fluffy white head that slowly fades and leaves nice lacing and retention. The aromas are full of bubblegum and sweet marmalade. Some malts. Very subtle hints of stick grapefruit. The flavors have a ton of hop bitterness. Some hop flavor, but not a ton. Lots of yeast. Sweet fruits. Lots of pine needles. Some orange zest. Subtle hints of grapefruit. There's also a good amount of black pepper. Slightly spicy. Flavors are sharp and crisp. Finishes dry for the most part. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied; active carbonation. It's a nice beer to relax with.

This is a Belgian IPA that is on par with most American interpretations. It's straight forward and well crafted. They nailed the bitterness.

My pour yields a finger of off white head over a light orange body. It dissipates quickly. The beer looks like it wants to lace up, but can't quite get it.

Mmmm, yeast, wheat and grassy hops make for a pleasant smell.

Grassy and gardeny with a pine edge. Bitter, yet clean. The yeast really fleshes out the flavor. As it warms a bit I pick up just the faintest traces of banana and a bitter orange.

The mouthfeel is medium bodied and well carbonated.

A brilliant beer which shows everything that is great about craft beer

A blast of strong-sweet-spicy-orange-citrus-marmalade goodness in both aroma and taste

along with above, Belgian yeast/pale ale flavours come through strongly with pepper and a nice subtle malt flavour to balance it all out

delicious aroma and taste: highly recommended (surprised that it isn't currently rated above 90?)

A - Cloudy reddish hue with a small head.
S - Hints of belgian yeast and some hops
T - Subtle, with fruity flavors, not to hoppy. Sweet with belgian yeast and banana.
M - Medium body and dry finish that has a bit of spice.
O - Interesting style that is worth trying.
