Pours a nice fluffy fizzy 1.5 finger head that fades at a med to slower pace, decent lacing, hazy amber rosy slight orange-red colored.

Nose big hops and nice hops, bit floral, some citrus, big tangerine citrus, little grapefruit, nice musty resin with touch of passion fruit, bit of a spicy earthy hop too, all that with a nice big sweet reddish toasty malt, slight caramel candy.

Taste starts mild sweetness, more reddish toasty malts, little candy like, nice caramel, toffee, candied biscuit, etc. That balances the hops nicely that come on with fair bitterness at first, light citrus again but more spicy earthy hop character, fair fruity hop character, mild grapefruit and tangerine. the bitterness tries to ramp but the sweet malts keep it in check, nice fluffy malt character. Finish is fairly dry, light sweet candy caramel malt, fair bitterness, light spicy earthy hop with light citrus as well.

Mouth is med to a bit heavier bod, nice fluffy carb.

Overall pretty nice hoppy red ale, good malts and nice bitterness balance, nice hop character, fairly tasty, good body, overall pretty nice beer. I was worried this would get too hoppy, too bitter, or too much sweet candy malt character since it's Clown Shoes, but this was pretty nice.

Pours into a becker a clear deep bronze with a large blooming head that leaces two full rings of broken lace as it settles oh so slowly into a frothy mass. The Simcoe hops stand out in the nose along with caramel malts and mild toast, like a hopped up Vienna lager to me.Dryer on the palate with toasted grain, earthiness, and leafy hop goodness,a little more oomph from the leafy hops and it would bump up my score.A damn fine amber lager,a healthy dose of hops, and on the dryer side.

Had on tap at the Bulldog during a Clownshoes tap take over. This is a big bold beer with some lager crispness and smoothness but it has the big IPA hop character. Very nice, reasonably light, refreshing and full flavored.

Pours a finger and half of head on a clear dark red colored body.
The aroma is a dank lemon and grapefruit and wet hay, all the in the best way.
The taste has a strong lemon bitterness upfront, loaded of malt in the background, but it's a hoppy beer.
It has a medium body with moderate carbonation.

Pours amber with a small head.
Nose shows tropical fruit including melon and fruit confectionery alongside some sweet clean malt.
More fruity hops as flavours with big confectionery notes. Also a fair whack of sweet clean malt before an aggressive but balanced bitterness enters.
Could use more carbonation.
