There are too many tv's in this place. Sports bars and I don't go together too well. Aside from my overstimulation problems this place is pretty nice. The restaurant is well maintained and clean.

The beer's are decent. There is a lot of mega brewed beer. There is a also a lot of typical crafts Boulevard, Sam Admas, Redhook etc. The imports are typical as well. No big beers on tap or in bottles. Seasonals are the best bet.

The waitress was very friendly, but had to return to our table 3 different times because she was unaware of which selections were tapped.

The food is average bar fare. The chicken tenders were fresh, wickedly hot and very tasty.

Go on Tuesdays for pint night. The rest of the time the beers are on the pricey side.

I have to agree with brownbeer it is more of a sports bar like place with sort of a British feel. I believe it is suppose to be the other way round but that might not work in Springfield. The food there is great and so is the service usually. There never seems to be that many people when I am there. For me that is a plus. There is is deffinatley better beer selection at OC's across the street but the fox aint nothing to sneeze at. Mainly the usual UK and Ireland imports. I have been wated on by a man there so he is wrong there but there some great waitresses at this place.

Fox and Hound is a sports bar with about 40 taps and 60 or so bottles. Granted, about half are Bud and Miller, and all of the side projects they produce. They do have Boulevard, Sam Adams, and as of recently, my favorite in their selection, Lagunitas IPA. They also have some draft imports: Guinness, Bass, Newcastle, Harp, and what-not. Tuesday is the night to go. $2 pints on everything all night and free pool after 10pm. The food is pretty typical pub food; wings and burgers. No dudes will be waiting your table, always a bonus (unless it's not for you).
