This stout is aged for two years in Buffalo Trace barrels, yet is only 6.1% ABV. You get to drink it all evening.
It looks like someone forgot the milk in chocolate milk, with a foam white head that fades surprisingly quickly.
The smell is of coffee, toffee, roastiness, and chocolate.
The taste is amazing. It's like drinking Kahlua, but beer.
The feel is the only place this beer falls short--and that's a relative fall. It is a bit acidic or otherwise astringent, but not enough to prevent you from ordering two more.
Overall this beer is so good that I'm having a tough time believing I'm the only person on BA to review it...but here I am. Enjoy as soon as possible!!
