Black with a nice light brown head, stickly lace.

Aroma and flavor have lots of coffee, chocolate, roasty malts, a touch of nuts.

Body is thick, rich, and smooth, with a nice coffee and dark chocolate finish.

Overall it's a very nice stout, not disappointing on the coffee title either. I'd drink it again no problem.

Had on tap at mad Mex

Pours a deep black with minimal head.

Has a great creamy espresso scent along with bitter chocolate.

The taste was way off from the smell and what i was expecting. It was somewhere along the lines of a watery coffee. Slight burnt malt taste.

Overall an okay brew but I probally wouldn't buy this again.

Pours a deep cola color with some nut brown color within,a half finger tannish colored sticky head atop.Cocoa and nutty aromas with some malted milk thrown in.A little light in the feel that takes away from the flavors a little. The espresso plays a major role on the palate with it's chocolate roast flavors that linger. Not a bad beer of the style, basicly par for the course.

22 oz. bomber. Pours out to a quickly falling sudsy tan head and very dark brown color. The head retention was disappointing. Aroma was roasty and chocolatey with vanilla, coffee and brown sugar notes. Flavor was semi-sweet chocolate on the front that gives way to coffee, molasses and spicy vanilla on the middle. Roasty bitter balancing finish. Mouthfeel is medium-thick and low CO2 and high gravity makes it a slow-but-easy drinker. (Making a note to carbonate my homebrewed stouts at this low level in the future. Very good.) Tasty and satisfying and improves as it warms up. This beer reminds me of what I used to like about stouts. Apart from the lack of a head, this is a top notch brew.

A: This poured an opaque black with a little dark tan head.
S: It smelled like fresh dark espresso with some rich dark chocolate, and a little sugar and cream.
T: It tasted like black coffee with some sugar and bittersweet chocolate. It had a clean, mostly bitter aftertaste.
M: It was somewhat thick with moderate carbonation.
D: This was a very nice coffee stout, with simple but pure scent and taste. The body was good, not great. But the finish was smooth, with no alcohol noticeable, so it was easy to drink. Fine brew.
