With 100% pucker power, Sour Bomb is unlike any beer you’ve ever experienced. We use traditional souring methods to create a light, crisp mouthfeel with unmatched tartness. High carbonation creates an explosion of citrus and lemon zest that is balanced by a bready wheat malt bill.

Got in a trade with The-Adjunct-Hippie. 16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 2/24/2019. Pours slightly hazy pale golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big juicy, fairly tart/tangy watermelon, strawberry, fruit skin/seeds, jolly ranchers, cucumber, lemon, lime, peach, pear, red/green apple, white grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread, light peppercorn/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of watermelon, fruity/acidic yeast, and moderate pale/wheat malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big juicy, fairly tart/tangy watermelon, strawberry, fruit skin/seeds, jolly ranchers, cucumber, lemon, lime, peach, pear, red/green apple, white grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread, light peppercorn/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang, and light spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy watermelon, strawberry, fruit skin/seeds, jolly ranchers, cucumber, lemon, lime, peach, pear, red/green apple, white grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread, light peppercorn/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of watermelon, fruity/acidic yeast, and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; with an awesome malt/tartness and tangy fruit balance; with zero puckering flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Moderate increasing dryness from lingering tartness, tangy fruit, and carbonation. Medium-plus carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth and moderately creamy/grainy/acidic/tangy balanced mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.6%. Overall this is an excellent fruited Berliner weisse. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of watermelon, fruity/acidic yeast, and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink with mellowly acidic/tangy/drying finish; not overly lactic. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Great balance of authentic watermelon flavors and Lacto complexity; with a nice pale/wheat malt backbone against acidity. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example. Not overwhelming on fruit flavors. Reminds me of the Founders Green Zebra, but a lot less sweet.

Poured from 22oz bottle into glass. Probably 2016 vintage.
Cloudy, pale gold colored body. Fizzy, bubbly head goes away and leaves a very thin ring. No lacing.
Aroma is lemon/lime and a little woody.
Taste is tart lemon, pear, and green apple. Has a bit of a hay/straw/wood vibe. No hops or bitterness.
Crisp, medium mouth feel. Very good carbonation. Rather dry finish, but refreshing.
A tart taste that stays away from the vinegar. Recommended as a summer refresher.

Pours a hazy yellow gold colour. Tart, lemon juice, passion fruit, smells like a Berlinerweisse! Light, crisp, slightly tart, juicy, passion fruit, sweet notes of clover honey, lemon juice, light earthy aftertaste. Very refreshing.

Probably my favorite sour of all time. So thankful that it's local but wish price was a little lower:-)

L Bubbly - almost champagne-like color and effervescence streaming up the tulip glass
S aromas of lemon, hay and green apples
T flavor follows with more lemon and a pronounced pleasant tartness. Not hitting any of those harsh tart notes.
F - feel is quite light and crisp
O - Overall this one has beach life written all over it. Will be looking for more of this, may even have to try and do some of the traditional mixing of flavors with it next time, seems like a great base for that.

More yellow with lots of visible bubbles but a very quick head seems largely a no show. The aroma is more lactic and the flavor is more of a tart fruit with a strong lemon character. I particularly like the taste. Refreshing it is with a nice higher carbonation on a thinner body makes it additionally refreshing with a crisp quality too. The wheat shows with a bit of earthiness in the aroma and some graininess in the taste. Finishes with a nice and soft dryness.
I like these (Band beers) but they charge too much for them. I really do think if they knock off a few bucks of these and Hop Labs they'd make money through bigger volume. I'd buy more, but as it is it is pretty much a one and done for me. I can get better value elsewhere.

Thanks to LiverBelly for sharing this one at Wowcoolman's tasting.
Pours a murky light golden-yellow with no head. No lacing on the drink down. Smell is sour grain, fruit, pickle juice, and acidic aromas. Taste is much the same with slightly sour with grain, fruit, and acidic flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of acidity on the palate with each sip. This beer has a low level of carbonation with an almost flat mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that is tasty, light, and easy to drink.
