From Dingus in a 16 oz. can - no date. Just a solid, well-made pale ale that's not over the top with anything. Easy drinking and good balance of malt and hops.

Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours reddish orange with a fluffy white head. Smells of grassy and citrus hops. Tastes of citrus and grassy hops with nice clean grain backbone. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

Appearance: Arrives slightly hazy with an amber hue; splashy lacing
Smell: Toffee malts and herbal, piney hops
Taste: A hint of toffee but the hops take over quickly, and not in a good way; there is a bandaid character along with an herbaceous, piney aspect that lingers into the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: Not sure what is going on here but this beer was a disappointment

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a 1 pint 6 fl oz bottle on March 2, 2018. Brewed with Citra hops. I was hoping for a cleaner malt bill that would allow for more Citra hop flavors to come through. Very nice body and feel though.

7oz pour to shaker, hazy yellow, good lacing. Light pine nose. Taste is a crushable, mildly bitter, and somewhat fruity ale. Lighter body and average carbonation. Could drink a lot of this.

Saturated bright orange, sharp clarity and a steady rising plume of carbonation.
Thick chunky lacing around the edges and long lasting surface coverage.
Aroma is floral and vegetal, no advertised Citra elements.
Taste is similarly floral and bitterly vegetal, malt has a tiny bit of buttered biscuit flavor.
Honeyed malt and resiny hop bitterness in the aftertaste. Light bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall it's not a bad beer, just don't call it a Citra pale ale.
