Really good beer at a great price, 2 - 10oz beers per order. Love this place

copperish orange in color, slightly bitter taste. As one reviewer noted probably would go great with a cheese plate

12 oz bottle into a teku.
Appearance: Pours a slightly hazy golden color. The head is a finger high and white in shade. Retention is average for the style, while minor amounts of lacing stick to the glass. (3.5)
Smell: Fairly standard. I get plenty of grapefruit mainly, backed by bits of pine and orange. As it warms up, I pick up traces of Mosaic-derived dankness. Malts are fairly neutral, but I do pick up light biscuit and caramel. This is pretty much what I expect from the archetypal new-school IPA, without doing anything to stand out from the pack. (3.25)
Taste: it starts off very green-tasting, if that makes any sense. The Mosaic is quite prevalent with notes of grapefruit, pine, and sweet onion. Malts provide both a decent sweetness and a fairly neutral canvas to let the hops shine. Well made and well balanced, but the hop profile isn't my cup of tea. (3)
Mouthfeel: Decently crisp and dry, this feels like a "west coast" IPA in many facets. It still features a decent body, without being overly slimy. Carbonation is decently powerful. (3.75)
Overall: Anyone who's read some of my reviews knows I don't like Mosaic, plain and simple. I won't in good conscience buy this again because of that fact, but that's because of how well this beer shows that facet off (for bettter or worse). There will be quite a few out there that like this more than I do, though. (3.25)
3.22/5: A good Mosaic showcase...unfortunately for me

Good, not great. Very bitter, aggressive hop attack up front with grassy, lemony notes along with it. Lingers nicely in the mouth. Not super complex, but it's pretty good.
