Clear gold with about 2 fingers of white head that lasts a little over 5 minutes and leaves rings of lace as the level drops.
Smell is bright floral hops with a bit of herbal dankness.
Taste is fruity bitterness with touch of lemon. Hop oils are there too. Malt levels are minimal as they should be for such a low abv. 4%.
Mouthfeel is thin but flavorful and carbonation is fairly high which helps it feel bigger than it is.
Overall I have tasted quite a few "session IPAs" and this one is quite unique. I really is like a light version of a very good regular IPA. I may revisit this review after I had had this a few more times but I am impressed.

Growler, picked up yesterday from Chuck's Hop Shop in Greenwood, Seattle. Tasted 9 June 2015.
Pours a clear pale yellow-orange. One finger of white head, gone rather quickly, leaving little spots of lacing.
Smell is delicious mosaic hops, fruity and bright. Oranges with a little twang, nice fresh herbs. Lovely.
Taste is similarly delightful. Only lightly bitter, gentle even for an APA, but full of juicy hop goodness. Fruity citrus, some mango. Fades to dry and clean, just how I want it to (and just how my favorite IPAs and pales do). Yum.
Feel is stellar. Starts out light but mouth-filling, then prickles with needle-like carbonation, and gradually settles to a smooth, dry finish. Outstanding.
Once again, Boneyard comes through. I don't know how they get hop aromatics to come through so well in the flavor, but they do it better than almost any other brewery I know. Fantastic beer - delicious stuff, and one I plan to drink more of if I can. Only a step below PseudoSue, and I consider that very high praise.
