Had on tap, aged 4 years. Reddish brown pour with a tan cap. Aromas of vanilla sweetened dark fruit, big caramel, cola and earth. Taste adds some leather but otherewise the same. Classic dryness and smooth yet barley snarling near the end, up front is larger, smoother and heavier, guessing long boil that leans more american feeling than english when all considered. Very nice sipper on a cooler evening

32oz crowler poured into a snifter
A- pours a deep amber with a one-finger foamy off-white head that reduces to a ring and leaves some lacing behind
S- aroma is predominately caramel up front, with undertones of musk, candied orange, cola
T- slightly sweet caramel up front with notes of earthy musk, candied orange peel, earthy hops & cola. Just a bit of alcohol on the finish
M- medium body and carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel that continues into a slightly warming finish
O- sweet and malty, almost drinks like a wee heavy
