Notes:
Brewed using 6 different NW varieties of hops at over 2.5 pounds per barrel, RPM IPA focuses on extreme hoppiness rather than bitterness. It’s golden to copper in color with a complex malt profile that will not overshadow the hops. Our flagship, RPM IPA, will satisfy any opinionated hop forward IPA consumer.

Delicious! Boneyard has held the gold standard for IPAs now for years. Lots of resinous, dank hops in this one, is less ABV bombastic than Hop Venom or Notorious. Enjoy this beauty if it’s on tap

Appearance - Pours a light copper with three fingers of frothy white head.
Smell - piney, citrus, earthy, leafy, weedy, and floral hops, pine resin, grapefruit and citrus peel, caramel, hint of tangerine, bready malts, and earthy yeast.
Taste - bold piney, citrus, earthy, leafy, weedy, and floral hops upfront. The pine resin, grapefruit and citrus peel come through next alongside the caramel. The hint of tangerine, bready malts, and earthy yeast round out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes sticky with the hops, pine resin, and malts lingering.
Overall - A solid West Coast IPA that delivers on the bitter front. This one is quite sessionable if you like your IPAs bitter.

Pours a clear bronze golden colour - hint of chill haze - with two fingers just off white head.
Aroma has a grainy caramel malt note with fragrant floral hops and an earthy dank note.
Flavour grainy malt, a hint of caramel and a hop explosion - floral, pine, dank and resiny - notes of pineapple and citrus with a subtle yet somehow distinct earthy bitterness.
Solid medium mouthfeel with moderate carbonation and a smooth hoppy finish.

The RPM pours real nice into the glass. Good two finger head with soft bubbles sitting on the side with provide a nice lace around the pint glass. Aroma is mango and flowery smell which can't nail which one exactly. The taste is real malty for me. Good IPA overall but malt seems to overpower.

12 FL OZ can
Served in a nonic pint glass
This beer pours a brilliant golden color and is topped with a couple inches of beige head that leaves spotty lacing.
The aroma is dank and citrus with some tropical fruit thrown in for good measure.
Smooth citrus up front with a little tropical fruit. The back end is loaded with grapefruit rind and pine, but it is not overly bitter in the finish.
Medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel
This is a smooth, juicy west coast IPA. It is great. I will always like this style over the trendy NEIPA.

Very hoppy smell piney and grapefruit like a classic west coast IPA but with that "dank" smell. Taste is sweet malts throughout the whole sip but the piney and grapefruit hop taste comes in and leaves with a pretty good bitterness not too much though! Liking the carbonation on this one too. It blends in well with the hop bite. Great West Coast IPA!

Finally seeing Boneyard beers down here at one of the craft beer stores.
Just had my first one and wow yes, this beer certainly lives up to it's reputation and ratings. Month-and-a-half old and this thing is still that fresh hoppy aroma and taste that made me forget what I was watching and drink it all up way too quick. Old school NW hop combo in the absolute best way I've ever had. And there are a ton of NW hop combo IPAs around here. I would keep this in my WCIPA rotation, certainly hoping this is a regular 'round here now.

Fresh! Canned on the 7th and rating on the 29th. Nice pour, clean and NOT hazy - yay! Mild 'beer' on the nose, clean and cool. Good bitterness, nice malt base which is something we look for in an IPA. Smooth finish, no flaws, a serviceable offering. It's tough to rise above the crowd around these parts, the RPM is a good contender. Worth having around.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium coppery amber with a three finger white head with good retention and nice lacing. Aroma of pale malt, citrus and lightly tropical fruit hops, lemon, grapefruit, mixed tropical fruit and a hint of pine. Flavor is pale malt, citrus and piney hops, lemon, grapefruit, pine, orange and a wisp of mixed tropical fruit. Serious, but not searing citrus rind and pine bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied with light creaminess. A fine, well hopped IPA in the West Coast style. The malt body seems closer to a pale ale, but the hops are all classic IPA, and I've been craving some. Great lingering pine and citrus notes in the finish. I've somehow never tagged this legendary IPA from Boneyard, and glad to have the chance. Although the rigors of the last year have taken a serious toll on breweries, the one silver lining for beer fans is that many breweries are trying a little broader distribution which allows brews like this to hit my area. Glad to have a chance to finally try this and hope to see it again in the future.

A. Frothy head 2 fingers. Plastic cups in COVID19...try to get some lacing. Settles into a 1mm ring.
S:. Malts are not in a backseat. Hops are C hops from what I can gather. Really like a Centennial clone from a certain competitor.
T: Centennial. Not as strong malt as some single hop Centennial variants from competitorss

Look: Burnt orange, opaque, and a strong pour brings on a big, white, pillowy head that leaves behind big, sticky lacing
Aroma: Pine, grapefruit, orange zest, a little light and bready malt, then hops again – some dank wafts in as well
Taste: Citrus kicks the door in, with pine coming in first, a little malt sweetness plays in nicely. Hops dominate and it tastes more bitter to me (which is welcome) than on tap though I’d have to try them side-by-side
Mouthfeel: Big, full, a little chewy but enough hop bite and dryness on the finish to beg for more sips
Overall: Awesome ‘throwback’ WCIPA and one of those reminders of just how spoiled we are here in the Pacific Northwest when it comes to IPA’s. This one is on the top tier for my tastes and on my favorites. Since they have been canning, I’ve scored two 6-packs of this and there most likely are more in the future so long as I keep finding them. If not, oh well, us spoiled folks have this beer on tap all over town – from tap houses to dive bars and everywhere in between it seems

Pours a golden, orange colour..crystal clear with a nice sized ( half inch) thick and creamy off white head.
Good fresh hoppy aromas..floral and spruce tips..the malts are caramel and slightly nutty.
Taste is very balanced but with a nice floral kick..malts are strong.
Smooth medium mouth feel, carbonation medium to low.Nice.
A nice drinkable every day IPAand it helps that this beer is virtualy available everywere in Oregon..even dive bars in the middle of nowhere. My local dive has it for $3.50 a pint

On draft in Portland.
Deep clear yellow/ gold with thin slightly off white head.
Extremely balanced. Citrus and light pine, some faint earthiness but clean.
Carbonation is on point.
Maltiness/ sweet bread is there in the taste but is balanced by the bitterness which is perfect and not overwhelming.
This is a very nice, drinkable, all around IPA. Sits high in my opinions.
