From the 32 oz growler filled today at Railroad Market in Burlington, Washington. Appealing melon aroma. The distinct apricot taste is delicious. More delicate bitterness than the typical IPA. This seems like the Oregon style. Golden amber color with nice foam in the Stella Artois goblet.

Rather crisp with plenty of mouthfilling carbonation and a touch of acidity. Malty and rich. That apricot aftertaste is one of the best IPA flavors I've encountered lately. Highly drinkable brew with a pleasant fruit flavor. I would not guess this had anywhere near 7.5 % alcohol.

April 16, 2016 update: The Railroad Market had this again so I got another growler. Good stuff.

Served in a pint glass at Stuft Crust, Milpitas

A: Lighter golden color, half a finger of fluffy white head. Slightly hazy.
S: Mango, peaches, oranges with some malty sweetness hits the nose right upfront. Background has some herbal, piney and citrus notes. Lemongrass and caramel more muted but present.
T: Sweet malts mixed with mango, peaches and citrus. Very sweet upfront. Very little bitterness, just enough to offset the sweet malts. Citrus, lemon, pine and caramel flavors in the middle mouth and finish. Sweet fruity aftertaste, but not too sweet.
M: Medium body, finishes clean and dry. Carbonation cleanses the palate.
O: If you like more tropical fruity IPAs that are sweet but not too sweet, this is for you. Great hoppy flavors without a ton of bittering. Beautifully done tropical IPA. If this was from the East Coast people on BA would be raving about it.

My first two experiences with the beer was blah - nothing special here, 4's across the board. Guest Brewer at de grade and on tap at a bar in manzanita, or. Both times I was what the fuck? This is supposed to be good? In hindsight, I chalk it up to old kegs or bad lines. Had it again in skamania and was like damn, this is a good beer. Everything I could want in an ipa - hoppy and fruity. Loved it the third time around.

32 oz Crowler. Copper color with slight haze. Tropical fruit sweet aroma. Fruity floral hops that lingers the right amount. Great balance in this beer. Sweet tasting but in a good way, with dry hoppy finish. Good mouthfeel, exceptionally smooth and drinkable. First brew I had by them and it did not disappoint. Outstanding IPA.
