I thought this one--a 14% non-barrel-aged stout--might be a little too much, my respect for Boneyard notwithstanding. But it was just right, and really, really good. If you like your Imperial Stouts with all the things Imperial Stouts are generally known for (your coffee and chocolate, your roasted malts and hints of dark dried fruits, and, yes, your alcohol), you will find all of that here, and in droves. But it does them all deftly, without veering into parody.

On tap at the Toronado in Seattle. Oily, black, viscous. Great name for this beer. Aroma is full of toast. Flavor is kind of like a silk marshmallow sweet overlaid with crispy toast. Yes it's got some fusel heat going on... it's 14% after all. A great sipper.

Had this one on draft at Chucks Hop Shop in Greenwood. As usual, it's an excellent beer from Boneyard though this is the first stout I had from them. Perfect balance of chocolate and coffee though I would love to taste a barrell aged version

Phenomenal beer. Pours jet black with a big creamy tan head that laces super slow throughout the enjoy drink. By far one of the creamiest beers I have ever had.
