Appears solid clear gold with a small white head.

It smells of resinous hops. I get an earthy grassy dank smell. A bit of a floral smell and a mild citrus hop smell is noticeable I smell almost no malty flavor except for a mild sweet smell.

It tastes of dank hops. I get a floral and grassy flavor a mild orange like flavor and a bit of a pine like hop flavor. The beer has a bit of malty sweetness but for the alcohol content it is quite dry. The beer ends with a substantial amount of bitterness that is not over the top.

The mouthfeel is somewhat syrupy.

Overall a great triple IPA. Unlike many triple IPAs this is not that sweet and it is somewhat light. This beer does a great job showcasing a plethora of hop flavor.

The best beer I've ever tasted. Had 10 oz. pour on tap at the growler cafe in Lebanon, OR 1/2/15. This is my fourth time tasting notorious over the past 3 years and each has been one of my most memorable moments tasting beer. The rest I cannot put into words. You have to try for yourself.

Taste: Malty, extremely hot. Overall: More of a unbalanced barley wine than an IPA.

Served in a 6oz snifter on tap.

This is probably the most aromatic IPA I have ever tried. As soon as the bar keep set it down, everyone up and down the bar could smell it. Fresh pine, citrus primary, herbaceous and dank as a secondary impression. A very rounded hop nose

Color is deep gold / orange with a white effervescent head, medium size bubbles. Lighter than what you would expect for a 12%

Taste is a hopsplosion. Basically more of the fully rounded hop nose with the addition the right amount of bitterning, not too much, but still plenty. Good overall citrus and malt balance. For a 12% not a lot of malt or sweetness.

Mouthfeel is creamy, smooth and sticky.

A very big beer overall, but still drinkable. Closest to Pliny the Younger. Highly recommend.
