Had on tap at the Burgundian.
A: Pours a hazy orange with a small white cap on top that reduces to a thin layer on top. Fantastic lacing down the sides.
S: Lots of orange and citrus, tropical fruits with a little bit of pine at the end. A fantastic aroma, extremely inviting.
T: More of the same on the flavor profile, tons of citrus - orange, orange rind, some red grapefruit with some faint malt underneath.
M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
O: A great beer by Boneyard, glad I was able to drink a bunch of it.

Had it on tap at the local down the street (Toronado)
Simply one of the best 2IPA's I've had in a long time, maybe one of my all-time favorites. Pours golden with a nice thick head - nose is pure sticky grapefruit cascade/simcoe smell with some balancing grassy, herbal notes. Really good nose.
Taste is equally incredible, just clean, almost perfect IPA, no stickiness, no alcohol burn (surprising at 10%)...among the most balanced 2IPA's I've ever had.
I tried this at the brewery a couple years ago when I was in bend and remember liking it, but totally forgot how good it was.

On tap at Toronado poured into a generic tulip glass.
Yellow-orange color, finger thick head that disipated quickly.
Smell of crushed blueberries an hay.
Tastes like a cross between fruit punch and a clean hot IPA in a good way.
Most prominent are mango and grilled pinneapple flavors.
Very strong but very smooth.
Reminds me of Double Mtn's white ale

On tap at Apex yesterday... $5 for a 6 ounce pour (so pretty much the same price as the Boneyard notorious, when they have it on).
The beer pours a golden amber color with excellent head retention and considerable lacing. The nose is attractive, but it wasn't as pronounced as I was expecting. Still, I got some light tropical fruit, some light pine, and some noticeable dry citrus. The flavor profile replicated the nose, except there was just more of everything... more tropical fruit, and a nice hoppy bite on the finish. Mouthfeel was medium bodied at most, and as with the notorious, this beer is very light on its feet for such a big beer. You can tell the alcohol is up there, but there's no sense of heat, with alcohol very well integrated into the flavor profile.
A nice beer, but have to confess that I prefer the hop venom and notorious to this beer.
