On tap at Belmont Station the other day.
The beer pours a golden amber color with good head retention and lacing. The nose is all simcoe goodness - the hop profile really shines in this one. In any event, I pick up light clove, light pepper, dry citrus and a hint of dank, skunky weed. The flavor profile is just more of the same in this light, easy drinking pale ale. The finish is dry with lightly bitter kiss of hops at the end. Mouthfeel is light, crisp and refreshing. Alcohol is barely an after thought in this impressive APA.
A bit light for my tastes, but nevertheless, this is another fine effort from Boneyard, especially given the low alcohol.
