This is another Tamura's location on Oahu. It's located in a strip mall and has a large space inside. Some of the beers are warm on the shelf and some are in coolers as with the other locations. The selection at this location is better than the store in Aiea and the one on Maui as well. Lots of US beers to choose from and a very strong selection of imports. The prices are in line with the other 2 stores I visited and are reasonable for Hawaii. Service at this store was particularly attentive and the staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, this is the best of the 3 Tamura's locations I visited in Hawaii and I would recommend checking out this store over the other location in Oahu if you only had to choose one to visit.

a pretty decent sized store with a mainly wine selection. about 1/2 an aisle of beer and a beer cooler full as well. overall, a good selection. typicals that i have seen around hawaii, ranging from Maui, Deschutes, Kona, Sierra Nevada, Rogue, typical macros and imports and finally... a nice selection of trappist ales and other including peche mortel. prices were similar to what i have seen, maybe a $1 higher on some but overall, about the same. never saw anyone walking around asking for assistance but the cashier was friendly. I would return and probably will.

Like the other Tamura's, this one is a great place to have in your neighborhood. Located in Aikahi shopping center, it is close to some of the best beaches in the world.

When you enter, go to the back of the very far right aisle. On the left is refrigerated brews, more of your standard type. On the left is shelves on non-refrigerated beer. They have a wide range of Rogue brews. Also some Belgians [Chimay] and Belgian style [Unibroue]. They also have a decent selection of other micros [I picked up some flying dog double IPA on my last visit]. I've also picked up some Hitachino, Baltik and Sierra Nevada recently. They don't have a tremendously large variety if you are used to mainland type superstores, but it is good for Hawaii and their prices are very reasonable.

Proceed around the corner and there is another, smaller, refrigerated area of beer. They also have a poke counter back there with some very good poke.

On another note, they have a large selection of wine and other spirits. For hard liquor, their prices are fantastic and they carry some hard to find stuff in HI.

Great little place in a wonderful location in paradise.
