Atmosphere: For the most part this place is pleather and vinyl-lined shit hole. The bar area is your typical nasty bar with lonely men and nasty waitresses. Luckily they had a baseball game on so I could look at something besides the crappy atmosphere.

Quality: Their beers are no good. I didn't try their food.

Service: When we first got to the bar area we sat a table which was a bad idea. No once came to our table after 5 minutes or so, so we moved up to the bar where there were a few open seats. The waitress/bartender threw a hissy fit when I asked her not to put lemon in my Hefeweizen. She proceeded to yell about how it is the proper way to serve the beer. We just rolled our eyes.

Selection: They had only 3 house beer along with the usual macro brews. All of their house brews pretty much sucked.

Value: Each pint was only $1 so it is certainly cheap. But even for $1 pints I wouldn't even go back to this joint. It sucks. Stay away.

Have driven by this place on every trip to Vegas and always wondered what it was like. Always noted the reviews were pretty bad. I was staying less than a mile away and have some time to kill...stopped by. Place was buzzing. Looks like a lot of the people were locals. Couldn't say for sure, but that's what it seemed. A decent mix of ages and types of people here. Young, old, smokers, etc.

Sat down to play some $5 blackjack. Service was a little slow, but friendly. Ordered one of their Hefe's. Not great, but, as long as your gambling, they are comped. Overall, I tried 5 different beers. None of them were more than average in rating.

Staff were very friendly. I got the "blackjack of the day" and won a free 64oz growler of any beer I wanted. Got the IPA, which I gave away to a buddy that came and visited later that day.

Didn't try the food.

Overall, this place, if comparing to your standard brewery, is pretty much a dump. If you're comparing it to a low-cost, Vegas hangout, is pretty fun. Don't take your new girlfriend there to impress her, but if you want to kill some time and try something different, give it a shot. I enjoyed myself.

I am guessing this is what brewpubs look like in Las Vegas. The Ellis Island casino is one block off the Vegas strip and has that dated casino feel.

It is old and full of locals with a main bar in the center of the casino that reminded me of Applebee's for some reason. There is another bar and a few eateries on the outside, but I came to drink.

The service is super friendly, but the quick Vegas style. They have their standard styles, which is fine, traditional but boring. Their IPA was below average but their stout was above average. Nothing was impressive, but for Vegas, this is not a terrible stop.

Price is perfect, $2 beers for 22oz while I was there.

This is a very good brewpub in a casino off the Strip and thus overall has very typical Las Vegas casino vibe and layout- a casino ringed with places to eat and drink, in this case on the smaller scale since this is not one of the big-name places. It has the basic vibe to go with that and also all the smoke, but the bar/dining room part is pretty good, with a nice feel closed in and like a "normal" bar/pub. It's dark, with a low ceiling and some nice seating.

Service we had was good and very friendly and efficient.

The beer selection is limited to a few standards - amber lager, stout, IPA, the like. It is not large or varied. However, the beers we had were truly very, very good - straightforward but solid, characterful, tasty, well-rounded and well-balanced, and both good with food and good session beers.

We had only appetizers and sides such as onion rings and fries, but they were all excellent.

Prices were low.

I always enjoy visiting Ellis Island for the incredible value. The $2.00 draft brews are unbeatable in price. The steak special is a can't miss and is worth a walk from the strip.

My last visit, I took my Fifty Fifty in for a growler fill. It was about 10:00 on a Sunday morning and not busy at all.

The attendant at the bar by the Karaoke denied my request to use my vacuum insulated growler for the ride home. She was incredibly rude about it, and told me I needed to buy their glass growler. Her nastiness and ignorance really amazed me, and revealed their employees lack of knowledge about beer.

I hope they change their policy soon, and school their employees on customer service.

This isn't a "brewpub," they simply serve their beer at the casino bar. And the beer is horrible. I probably tried 3 of their offerings, each worse than the last. However, the beer is cheap at ~$2 for a 20 oz pour. If you happen to be here anyway by some unfortunate mistake, I suppose their beer is better than a bottle of Bud. But certainly don't come here intentionally to try their beer (as I did).

Made my way to the Ellis Island today to try a couple of their beers and enjoy the steak & eggs special.

We're talking about a casino here that happens to host a brewpub. As one might expect, the atmosphere is not particularly publike, but rather quite casinolike. The service is friendly, though not particularly beer-centric, and the food is quite tasty.

I had the English stout and the IPA; both were serviceable if not particularly impressive. Given the state of craft beer availability in Las Vegas, however, it's definitely worth a stop here to get some reprieve from the oceans of Coors and Corona to be found elsewhere. It is also worth noting that the beer is dirt-cheap, and absolutely worth the price (a $2 craft pint here vs. an $8 Corona on the strip).

I have been here several times and love the casino, but the beer I could take or leave. The selection never seems to change and I have been to Vegas at various times of year. The quality of the beer I would say is a stepping stone to people just getting away from BMC beer to pursuing other craft beer. The food at the BBQ, restaurant and pizza is outstanding and we stop there for several meals each trip. The gambling is catered to attract the locals, which means looser machines than the strip.

The atmosphere here was not what I expected in a microbrewery, but should have been expected from Las Vegas. The brewery is plain and in the back of a smoky casino that badly needs updating. The beers all tasted the same no matter the style, lager to stout. Was very disappointed overall. Would no recommed
