A - pours a nice blackish color with a caramel rim around the top. The little head that was there dissipated quickly.
S - really nice chocolate malt flavors come through the most dominantly, with a bit of burnt malt and some spreitzy hops coming through faintly. Really nice aromas.
T - the nose hives a very nice indiction of what's to come with this beer. It starts off with some sweet oat and chocolate malts. The sweetness gives way to the roasted barley, creating a nice burnt malt flavor. This beer then has one more flavor to reveal, spicy citrus hops that cuts through the other malt flavors. Pretty solid stuff!
M - the oats give this a nice thick body that foes down smooth
D - pretty solid oatmeal stout here. Nice, rich complexity with a low abv made me wish I had another to drink. Thanks to apollokim for the chance to try this one. Great beer from what seems to be a pretty cool little brewery.

Bottle shared with my neighbor, Thanks Bill.
Appearance: dark and creamy with a nice one finger tan head.
Nose: slight chocolate notes with some roast and a touch of sweetness
Taste: thin mouthfeel especially for an oatmeal stout. Chocolate, coffee, roasted malt, low bitterness
Overall: I'm so used to drinking big Imperial stouts that I forgot how drinkable lower gravity brews can be. I could easily have another pint of this.

A nice little oatmeal stout on tap at Bull Run Restaurant in Shirley MA. Poured into a pint glass, it was dark with cereal malty nose and balanced oatmeal, chocolate, and coffee. found the mouthfeel to be thick and smooth, not watery as others have described, perhaps due to draft.
