Second stop on the 2004 BA Bus Tour, The People’s Pint is smack dab in the middle of downtown Greenfield, MA. Don’t let the boring main street shop-like exterior fool you, because inside is hands-down one of the best beer establishments in Massachusetts (it’s actually a bar/restaurant, but the brewery is located just down the road). Dark woods, cozy seating, booths along the walls and a long and inviting bar sets the mood. Vibe is very chill. Pair this with up to 8 house beers and 3 cask-conditioned offerings (very rare) and one could park their ass in this place and have to get kicked out. Halves and fulls are available, with standard full-pint offerings from $2.75 to $3.25, and specials just a bit higher. Growlers-to-go are also available for their tap offerings. Try the Pied PIPA on cask (a silky-smooth American IPA at around 6.4 percent alcohol), the Brakeshoe Porter (one of the best Porter’s around, ‘nuff said) or the Slippery Slope (a crazy Braggot-like brew of 8 percent alcohol and brewed with mead, cider and malt). For the non-beery types, or if you want to switch things up, try one of their house-brewed sodas, the Ginger Ale is a freagin’ amazing elixir. Another highlight for us was their Ploughman offerings. We opted for the Combo Ploughman, which was presented on a big wooden cutting board and featured house pickles, pickled eggs, pickled sausage, pepperoncini, sour dour bread, stone ground mustard and wedges of extra-sharp Cabot cheddar cheese. They range from $6-$7, and come in two standard variations and a special Ploughman. They offer a fantastic menu of very thoughtful food selections, but the Ploughman was all the rage during our visit. In the area, The People’s Pint is a must. Not in the area, worth the road-trip alone. Seriously. You will not be disappointed.

Finally visiting this brewpub. I feel like this is an old school OG place and I never made it when I lived in Springfield, but I went tonight. Off street parking behind the buildings. Walking in the front door to a host station which actually also stores several bomber bottles of beer to go. Quite a range of selection for to go bottles. To the right is the bar with about 18 to 20 stools and a few chair and counter top tables towards window facing the street.
Rest of the room is table and chair combo and booths along the wall. The beer list is expansive with about 14 house beers ranging from an amber ale and an IPA to a NEIPA, Imperial Stout, to a barrel aged breakfast beer. Something for everyone here. Beers are served in 16 oz glasses, unless the bigger ABV, then served in 12 oz.
Food is also a nice mix of pub grub but also some Latin flare and some Asian fusion stuff too. Again, something for everyone. I had a pulled pork with maple sugar yams and found both to be very tasty. My wife and her peanut noodles was also a win. I drank an oatmeal stout and found it quaffable and roasty. Quite an enjoyable beer.
this brewpub is also fairly progressive with, extremely minimal waste, no straws, composting and also will give gift cards for commuting or running errands while riding your bike.
Im glad to have made it here and wish I had gotten here sooner. I would definitely stop for lunch and a beer or more if you are in Western Mass.

I've been to the People's Pint a few times. The food is fantastic. The servers are extremely friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed. The menu is a little limited, but what they do have is all very good. If your in the area People's Pint is a must stop.

Cool place with good food and knowledgeable staff. Beers weren't too shabby either ;) I had their Slippery Slope (Braggot @ 9 abv ) & their imperial IPA. Both were very tasty.

Long time fan of the "Pint" a strong focus on Valley Local that dates back nearly 20 years.
The food value is super, the kitchen has turned many seasonal offerings into fabulous plates.
The service is always great, the place can get loud though I don't consider it to loud.
The beers are from their own brewery, the standard beers are solid, but the seasonal's are usually fantastic.
They usually have 2 cask engines, that said we go almost weekly.
Clearly worth the effort.
Cheers
