Just say “Gimme an Icky!” Named after Nevada’s official state fossil, this beer is made in the India Pale Ale style. Ichthyosaur is accented by a blast of Cascade hops.

This is a good solid IPA that is a local brew for me, and I consider it to be the best IPA in the area.
Look: Dark amber, medium head.
Smell: Wow does this have a great strong aroma. Hops, citrus (mostly lemon), and a little piney.
Taste: Hoppy and bitter (but not so bitter that it makes you pucker). More pine notes come through with a refreshing bitter lemon aftertaste that makes you want another sip.
Feel: Medium-high carbonation in the mouth.
Overall: I would recommend this to any citrus fan out there. Very easy drinking.

Can at PKWY Marks. Hazy amber pour with thick fluffy head. Looks great. Faint fruity aroma, oranges. Taste is very subdued as well, light citrus and malt. Kind of weak, leaning towards watery. Hoping my next Nevada beer is better, 0 for 2 tonight.

16oz can served in a can shaped glass. I don't see a date on this can, but I think I saw the date 04/03/21 on the other can in my fridge. Gift from my brother.
Pours a clear amber orange with a decent sized head, maybe a finger and a half. Some carbonation. Smell is greens, vague hop bitterness, lemon rind.
Taste is more vague hop bitterness, again lemon rind, might get a little bit of grain. Mouthfeel is dry and light. Overall...it's all right.

On tap in Meridian ID. Icky. Clear pale golden pour with some off-khaki head lacing. Old school and full of malty caramel and smooth piney grapefruit. Somewhat dank too and fairly malty sweet throughout. Moderate bitterness. Drying finish. Somewhat of a one-trick brew but good for what it is. Old school? West coast? Malty? Just solid.

On-tap on board M.S. Dixie II, Lake Tahoe cruising from Zephyr Cove, NV
A: The beer is clear dark amber in color and has no visible carbonation. It poured with a thick webbing of white bubbles covering the surface.
S: Light to moderate aromas of caramel malts and piney hops are present in the nose.
T: The taste has flavors of pale and caramel malts along with a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a little crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is a little maltier compared toothed IPAs but has a good dose of underlying hops.
Serving type: can

Amber filtered with little carbonation and remarkably no head.
Smells of malt, caramel, and glue.
Tastes of malt, caramel, and glue.
Medium, hard water like body with almost no carbonation.
I got this in Reno, NV, and am drinking it in Redding, CA, August 1st, 2019. Perhaps this beer will go extinct in a few years.
