Black beer, beige head, lace clings hard in the p(a)int glass. A small amount of chocolate in the nose.

Smooth, non challenging drink. Good thickness, pleasant drinker. Oats? Smooth, so who knows.
One of Great Basin's better beers and stouts.

Well if that don't look like the prettiest beer I've ever seen. Just jet black, dense tan foam, sticky lace. Aroma was mild dark chocolate. Nice, definitely not in your face or massive.

And that will be the theme for this beer, its real easy to drink, and the chocolate is certainly there, but its not like the big chocolate bombs from Rogue, Bruery, Southern Tier etc. . . Mouthfeel is mild, wouldn't describe it as thin, but its a 5and a half percent type of stout, its not going for massive, its pleasant, made around Valentines Day, can't help but wonder if this is a great beer to convert girls to that horrible "dark" beer. Very smooth, nitro done well, fair amount of mild dark chocolate, relatively light mouthfeel and body, silky, hardly bitter at all.

Definitely my favorite chocolate beer in Nevada. But far from being a top tier chocolate/dessert type of stout IMHO. Sure looks pretty though.
