On tap at Engine 15.

Near clear; very dark brown; durable ring; ring lacing.
Feel: Medium-light body and carbonation.
Flavor: Mildly nutty, a bit too sweet, Has lots of caramel malts and a touch of herbal hops. Lasting aftertaste turns mildly bitter.

Engine 15 Brewing Co. "Nut Sack Brown Imperial Brown"
On tap @ World of Beer, Wildwood, FL on 9/5/14

Notes: Deep mahogany brown body beneath a short, and short lived, head of tan. Cocoa, fudge, sweet red berry, apple, underlying alcohol & heat, coffee, woody/oaky. It's malty, but balanced by a very firm bitterness. Finishes with lingering notes of roast coffee.

I tried this with my bro-in-law at the brewery. It poured a cloudy brownish red with off white head that did not lace. The scent had hints of maple and spice. The taste was ok and there was a presence of vanilla and anise. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall its ok.

Pours a murky brown color. Not much head and what's there is gone in a hurry.

Almost no smell. A bit of malt, that's it.

Tastes like a Coke, only not as sweet. Not much to it.

Creamy and somewhat thin. Light bodied for the amount of ABV.

Not bad, just not much to it.

Clear ruby red with not much head. Smells very malty. Tastes like sweet roasted malts with a smooth aftertaste. A little on the sweet side. Overall the look and smell is nothing special, but the taste is very comparable to a English style Brown Ale. A well done example of style 4.00

Dark brown - ruby see thru draft with beige head. Roasted malt nose. Toasted nuts with sweet malt finish (too sweet?). Medium lite mouthfeel. Nice nutty ale.
