Clear bright gold with a massive bone color head. Lots of fine bubble lace.
Smell is fruity and pungent.
Taste is fruit forward with tropical fruit. Some melon guava and a fair amount of bready malt.
Mouthfeel is light to medium with good carbonation. The finish is balanced and lightly dry.
Overall a tasty Summer IPA.

Hazy light gold with no head retention or lacing. Looks like many berlinerweisse Ive had. Smell is subdued hops and lemon. Taste is also a blend of resiny hops and lemon. Not overly carbonated as far as Ipas go. Nothing stand out.

somewhat unimpressive as they go, and while this is right on trend in terms of popular styles and what everyone is doing right now, it really doesnt stack up to the best of its peers. its not quite hoppy enough to really fit the ipa bill i dont think, lots of malt to balance the hops, and not a ton of bitterness. its also not so citrusy as to really taste like a fruit beer, more of just a sweeter complexion, nothing distinct enough to pick out individually on the fruit side, and if it was supposed to stand in for more pungent hops, it doesnt do a great job. that said, its not at all a bad pale ale type, definitely a little on the sweeter side, but its still real drinkable and approachable for a hoppy beer, apparently designed to have some mass appeal, and i think it succeeds there. i think the lighter body is cool, its carbonated well, and it finishes clean without the residual bite of most ipa, especially from this region of the country. nice with a seared tuna salad, probably versatile with a number of other lighter culinary options, but a little underwhelming overall in both flavor and quality. it didnt move me in any way at all.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a hazy, medium golden amber with a two finger white head with good retention and lacing. Aroma of caramel malt and hint of biscuit, citrus hops, orange and grapefruit. Flavor is citrus hops, caramel malt with light biscuit, lemon and orange citrus, finishes with citrus rind, lightly resinous hops. Medium bodied with light creaminess. A nicely balanced IPA with a flavorful but not dominating malt body and great citrus hops and citrus flavors. The citrus juice used must have been very sparse because although this had nice fruit flavors, it wasn't more than often are produced with hops alone. And that is a good thing, because too much fruit juice would have ruined the balance here. Very nice and well integrated. I like IPAs with a good malt body and flavorful hop bills and this one really came through.

Wish we had access to this beer in South Florida. Bought a bottle in Portland over the summer to bring home with me. Had I drank it in Portland I would've brought back a whole case. Absolutely loved this beer.

Citrus forward, great flavor and mouthfeel. Incredibly smooth.

This is a really nice refreshing IPA, but not very complex. The hoppiness is pretty subdued and I didn't pick up on a lot of citrus. Really easy drinker that would be nice on a hot day, but nothing special.

Apparently the citrus-flavored IPA craze has spread to other galaxies. I blame Stone, as usual.

Color is a very attractive bleached orange amber. Plenty of white foam and lacing in the New Belgium snifter. Light lemonade nose.

Toasty malt with a citrus bite of lime peel. More like a tang of kumquats with a whiff of grapefruit. Everything is restrained and fruity, without too much bitterness or acidity. This seems like the right way to do a citrus IPA.

From the 22 ox bottle bought at New Seasons Market in Portland.

Pours a clear light orange color with a frothy white head that leaves lots of lacing.

Smell is ripe with grapefruit, lemon, orange, pine, and pineapple. This to me is the best part of the beer, the smell is strong.

Taste is pretty good too. Loads of grassy herbal hops, citrus, and pine.

Feel is just fine

Overall a nice offering that is unique. This beer is light on the palate, so its a winner for summertime drinking.

22 oz bomber bought from Roth's Sunnyslope Market in South Salem. $4.99 Pours a hazy golden yellow with a large frothy thick white head. Aromas of mainly grapefruit, lemon peel and pine..its nice though. Taste is the same getting the pineyness from the hops and the citrus flavours from whatever juice its infuses with. Its very refreshing though. mouth feel is very nice smooth but well carbonated alc at 7% is not noticed. Good hotter weather type IPA..liked it.
