There is yeast sediment in the bottle. The dark brown (90 EBC) liquid is clear. The two finger high brown head leaves no lacing.

The smell is roasted and bitter. Chocolate and nuts. It reminds me more of an American porter than a Weizenbock.

The taste is bitter with some wheat-beer-yeast-phenols. It is very roasted with some dried red berries. Medium body. The aftertaste brings more of the semi-sweet red berries and a growing bitterness together with some nuts and alcohol. The finish is bitter, without any traces of the wheat.

The small bubbles are light, the carbonation is medium strong. The liquid is light and a bit dry.

Well, this is certainly not a Weizenbock. It is not a bad beer at all, but it is more of an American porter than anything else.

A dusty dark chestnut, an off-white high head, no lacing, some curtains.

Sweet raisins, some sherry and orange notes.

A sweet brown bread start, hard toasted crust, chocolate with orange marmalade, figs.

Little carbonation, soft and sticky, a big body, a light dry finish.

An interesting sweet compact wheat beer.
