Our cousins took us here for dinner while we were visiting DC. The atmosphere was dingy old bar, crowded and not real clean looking. Beer selection was pretty good and the guys seemed happy about it. The people in our party that got burgers were happy about their choices but I got the fish and chips and it was terrible. Breading was doughy and not crisp at all and the fish was not fresh or even close to flash frozen. I would not go back and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Prices were a little high but it is the big city so was expected.

This restaurant is located in the middle of Georgetown. This is more of a restaurant then bar. The beer selection was pretty solid with 9 good taps and some good bottles. The food is actually quite good. We had a very good rare tuna burger and a good bison burger with blue cheese. This is probably not the best stop for beer in DC but solid selection with great food and pretty reasonable price for food (fro Georgetown anyway).

A: Odd mix of clients, mostly people in town on business and an odd assortment of sports fans drinking Miller or Stella. An odd assortment of music playing.

Q: Fine. Beer isn't served too cold and the proper selection of glassware is offered.

Ser: Likewise, fine. Bartenders attentive, but can have a bit of an attitude at times.

Sel: Good variety of big East Coast breweries and the random out-of-the-area breweries. They get a lot of the big DFH and SA releases especially.

O: Good, somewhere I'd go for half-off happy hour, but if I'm going to pay full price for a craft beer in Georgetown, I'd go down the street to Pizzeria Paradiso-slightly better selection and much better atmosphere.

Went to Thunder Burger and Bar while in DC for a seminar. First off, real organic burger was one of the very best burgers I have had in my life. Order it with fries. Beer selection was great and they have a 4 8-ounce sampler in proper glasses. I had four IPAs from an extensive menu and the waiter was very informative. Two were from east coast and two from west coast. I had second round of samplers with equal success. Stayed two hours for more beer and fireplace. I am going back to DC this month and will return. Must do.
