Stopped by on the way to a party on a Friday in Round Rock on a Saturday night.

Atmosphere was not bad at all. Several flat screen TVs to check out sports. There was a panel at the table to choose audio from different screens. The dining area was definitely not overly loud/boisterous for a Saturday night.

The selection was good for a sports grill. They had a promotion at the time for a blind taste testing of Dos Equis vs. Twisted X Lager for $5. Didn't participate, but sounded interesting.

I really liked that this place emphasized local brews, but we had a waiter that seemed to be "apologizing" for it. He referred to a snifter/tulip as a "cute little glass" because one would be falling over drunk because of the ABV if one consumed a full pint. Also, several beers on the menu were unavailable.

Food was a bit overpriced, but good. I highly recommend the truffle mac n' cheese. Everything seemed to be a slightly gourmet twist on comfort food.

Overall, a good place to watch sports and get some craft beer offerings with some decent food

This has quickly become my favorite place to have a few pints in Round Rock. The Homefield Grill has a little something for everyone in the family. There is a nice bar area and a separate dining section if you want to bring the kids. Plenty of flat screens to watch the game. They have a wide variety of food, from Burgers and Pizzas to Steaks. There is also a decent size game room for the kids. Now for the beer. A great selection with lots of local beers on tap. Rotating taps usually consist of rarer beers and never dissapoints. I've had Saint Arnold DR11 here on a couple of occasions along with beers from Stone, 512, Jester King, and more. The staff is generally knowledgable about beer and the wait staff often bring me samples of new beers to try. IMO, the best place in Round Rock to get a beer.

Finally!

A place in Round Rock that has a decent selection of craft beer. Thank you Homefield!

A bit of a strange set up though. Kind of a sports bar, Dave and Busters, restaurant type of place. No matter...the beer selection is good, so I'll just stay at the bar.

My first beer was a fresh tapped keg of Saint Arnold Divine 11 DIPA. Absolutely delicious. This was followed by a Big Sky Moose Drool, a Stone IPA, and a 512 Pecan Porter.

In the middle of these tasty beers was a fairly tasty chips and guac platter and a flavorful potato soup...fairly priced for a bar.

The service was good. Bar tenders were friendly and knew quite a bit about craft beer....seeemed to be into the fact they were working in a place that gave a shit about good beer.

Nice job Homefield. I'll certainly be back and will tell others of your establishment.
