World class, in a nutshell. 40 taps, 500 bottles, and the bottles are available for consumption on site at bar prices or to go at retail prices. No food, but you can bring it in.

Spacious and comfortable with lots of exposed brick, and a long bar. Some high tables with chairs and booth like seating in some places, and some little corner hideaway coveys with booth like zones and low tables. A few larger oversized/overstuffed chairs in other places. Lots of flat screen TV's, but the sound was off earlier, and kept low during the football game so it wouldn't overwhelm those aren't into it.

The menu is in a thick binder with some suggestions "if you normally drink BMC, try this" etc, for folks who are disoriented by or unfamiliar with the awesome selection. There was also some basic beer education materials before the draft and bottle lists.

A 5 brew sampler paddle cost $13, and I think they were 4 oz samples, but the price was the same for Mikkeller and the Beast as it was for more readily available and less costly brews. That was the only price that could remotely be considered pricey, though I think it is fair for what you get. A 10oz Expedition or 12oz Oak Yeti were $6. Everything we had was good and clean, served in proper glassware and pretty close to proper temp. The selection was super solid across the board, with quite a few relatively rare or special brews. The night we were there (a Monday), half the taps were half priced after 8.

It would be silly not to check this place out if you had the chance.

This is probably the best single bar to go for beer variety in St. Louis. The atmosphere is pretty laid back with plenty of different seating options (bar, booth/table, couches, outdoor). I wish they concentrated less pn putting soccer on TV, but a good number of TV's with good variety of things to view. Beer selection is huge, with well over 100 options in bottles and I think ~50 taps. Everything is served in proper glasses and is clean.

Cool thing here is that even though they don't offer food, they are connected to both Mission Taco and Epic Pizza thru a hallway and you can bring your food into the bar. My only beef is with the service, which is occasionally lacking, specifically at the bar. The servers are usually prompt and polite with decent knowledge of their selection.

iTap also has a great variety of beer events throughout the year. My favorite so far was the Nightmare Before Christmas, where they trotted out ~30 dark, imperial beers and offered half pours. Great event!

I've been here a few times and it can be packed or half full. I'm glad they now at least have the draft list on their website, but the photo of writings on a chalkboard can be hard to read. It is still an upgrade. Their selection is great, but there isn't a lot that is super limited. Beers are served in proper glassware. No food, but they are connected to Mission Taco Joint so you are set.

Simply one of the best places to go in St. Louis for beer. Small but cozy place, live bands on the weekends, special events almost every other night of the week, 480 bottles available, 40 beers on tap, and a selection that constantly changes. Friendly bar tenders/waitresses/waiters and extremely knowledgeable. Absolutely amazing place and a must visit location.
