Notes: Are you silly? I’m still gonna send it. Knee Deep brings you a totally radical IPA brewed with some of our favor-ite hops of Simcoe, Citra and Chinook. Gnarly flavors of fresh orange zest, earthy pine trees and subtle sweet honey bread malt is packed into this bad boy. A truly delicious IPA that will have you “sending it” in no time.

This one pretty much is what it is: it’s not fancy, it’s definitely not Gene Tierney in a black cocktail dress circa The Razor’s Edge... it’s just blah like a Denny’s Grand Slam breakfast. Like, yeah - I’ll eat it, but Raul sure as hell ain’t gonna savor it.

So that’s what I do; I sip, I let the alcohol enter my bloodstream, and I simply chill. Not in delight, but just...

Had this in a can given to me...bought from Brewery...not that impressed with this West Coast IPA. Maybe it was the mixture of hops on this one, but it was lacking the tropical notes that I like in an IPA. Decent iteration, but a thin finish and not a go to for me.

Solid West Coast IPA from Knee Deep. Will revisit with formal review, initial serving was draught at Burgers-n-brew. Definitely worth another spin, and refreshing change from yet another average hazy IPA.

Updated original draught straight 4.25 rating.

10 day-old can into a tumbler.

L: Bright golden with 2+ fingers of variable density white head with good retention and left windshield lacing.

S: Nose leads with pine and earthiness, subtle floral aspects hiding underneath.

T Follows the nose well, but the floral aspects get lost. Finishes with moderate bitterness, and hints of acidity, bitterness lingers. Honey, and a bit of sweetness, shows more as the beer warms.

F: Low-medium bodied with moderate carbonation, dances on the tongue with slight acidity burn, clean on the swallow.

O: Stand by my original draught assessment, nice traditional West Coast IPA that I'm happy to take to the parking lot at the ski area on a sunny day!
