Made with only grade-A Tahitian vanilla beans, Tanilla carries a smooth chocolate flavor complemented by the delicate intensity of vanilla beans, and a rich aroma of coffee.

Pours a tan frothy 1 finger head with great retention, sticky lacing, jet black color
Nose mild roast, milk chocolate, vanilla, toasted and roasted malts
Taste brings lots of vanilla, raw vanilla bean and a bit artificial but tons if it, earthy spicy hops with med to lighter bitterness, bit of roast and coffee, roasted malt tannin, mild sweet finish, med bitterness
Mouth is med to fuller bod, med frothy carb
Overall eh, nothing special, not much base porter and loads of vanilla overpowering, but not terrible

draught
Very dark brown with obvious clarity from seeing it at the edge of glass. Toasted wood aroma. A hint of creaminess in the initial mouthfeel. Thin, slightly woody flavor, with the slightest hint of fruitiness. Finishes with a woody malt note.

Pours an effervescent ebony with a thumb of tan head. Average head retention & lacing
S: Vanilla, faint roastyness, both fade as this warms
T: Follows the nose, dryness as well up front. Vanilla dominates as this warms, but there is also cocoa & dryness, just a little coffee & woody hops. Finishes with dryness, a little vanilla, slight grainy char
Medium body, slight carbonation
Not a bad porter, but not one I would reccomend unless you ARE really into vanilla
