An American Double India Pale Ale that packs a punch when it comes to hops. The aroma and flavors will give you citrus and pine with a slight malt sweetness that finishes dry.

Look - deep gold, creamy white head, very good lacing left behind
Smell - ripe citrus, pine, dank
Taste - citrusy, real piney, juicy, floral, spicy
Feel - medium body and carbonation, sticky, resinous, dry finish
Overall - Wow! This is one amped up west coast DIPA. Strong piney scent right from the can and into the pour. Ripe citrus and piney flavor coat the tongue with some spiciness. She's sticky, resinous and has a dry finish. I didn't expect this brew to be this good based on the reviews and overall scores but this baby is tremendous. On my next visit to California, this one is at the top of my list. Hoptologist is so badass that I paired her with Mean Street by Van Halen.

102 IBU? Still fairly smooth, deep golden body with a nice silly white head. Hops rule both the aroma and taste (as expected), gives a nice pleasant glow. Lingering hoppiness, although not as much as you’d think

Pour the clear golden color slightly pale with a one finger head.
Smells of pine and citrus.
Taste is citrusy in the start, and the hops bite right away. The bitterness lingers.
Decent imo. Very straight forward dipa

Sweet malt, and a little dankness that isnt overpowering. Apricot and mango notes in there at the forefront. 102 IBU's, so if youre used to IPA's you wont find anything too offensive. Stupidly drinkable at 9%.

It smells like fresh hops. They're a little dank and there is a little malted sweetness but mostly it's just fresh.
It tastes dank and piny at first and sweet like grain. Overall the taste is refreshing.
It's thin with moderate carbonation. It has a smooth bittersweet finish.
This is a fantastic IPA. It's balanced with bold flavors and refreshing neutrality. I give it a 5.4 out of 6.

Golden amber with a slightly creamy off white head. Aroma is pine, grapefruit, lemon, and pineapple with a candy malt sweetness. Taste balanced with a potent dose of bitterness that is backed up by caramel malt base. Slight astringency though alcohol is well concealed for this large beer. Knee Deep has consistently been making solid West Coast IPA's and this is one of the earliest double IPA's I remember seeing around. Good.

Pours a clear amber color with a small short lived head with a little lacing.
Smells of dank grassy, piney hops.
Tastes of hops and malt with a mildly bitter finish.
Medium light body with medium carbonation. Watery mouthfeel with a dry finish.
This is a straight forward West Coast IPA that packs a punch.

Excellent west coast style DIPA! I prefer a high IBU and this did not let me down at 102. I would purchase this again! 19.2 oz canned on 11/2/20 and still good on 1/30/21.

Pours like any other IPA, yellow orange. Smell is crisp, hoppy, and malty. Carbonation is low. Mouth feel is thin and dry. Taste is def my preference. Lots of hops and malts with a slight boozy finish. Also, if you like dank DIPAs, this is for you. Overall good DIPA, I appreciate that it's not juicy like everything else that's coming out.

Appearance: Pours clear and amber colored with a solid head; a few shards linger
Smell: Piney and somewhat dank, with hints of cracker and caramel underneath
Taste: The cracker malt lays down a base with a touch of caramel sweetness but it doesn't take long for the piney hops to emerge; light fruit tones arise, after the swallow to complement the piney bitterness into the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium to full body with moderate carbonation
Overall: This one has been around for a long time and withstood the test of time; not going to knock anybody's socks off but a solid DIPA

Pours with a transparent glowing golden body and bone white head, leaving moderate amounts of lacing on the glass. Can art is alright, dated 08/14/20. (Make sure you buy fresh!)
Aromas of mango, banana, pineapple, pomelo, passion fruit, canary melon, concord grape, durian and damiana with a hemp dankness that lingers.
A barrage of grapefruit and concord grape bitterness on the tongue with a light caramel cushion that helps smooth it out. Subtle notes of pineapple, banana and white peach barely make a sound against the herbal bitterness of thyme and tarragon on the finish. Damiana and pomelo linger longest.
Not a bad texture. A little heavy, but with an excellent carbonation level, and nicely spicy licorice bite.
A well-done west coast style IIPA. Enough smack for any hophead. Cheers!
